A Management Must-Have
This is a book of profound proportions. Matteson and Ivancevich originally printed their first version of this book titled simply Management Classics with Goodyear publishing way back in 1980. Trust me for the money you will not find a better compilation of management and organization thought anywhere. This is a well researched and edited selection of management articles from the enormous ...

A Well Organized and Practical Text
This text is primarily for use as a classroom reference. The language is appropriate for both graduate and undergraduate classes. I used this text as part of a Total Quality Management class in a Ph.D. program. It is organized into six fundamental divisions of any organization. The six divisions are the environment, planning, organizing, leading, controlling, and innovation. There are ...

Good information for managers of IT workers.
The first thing about this book is that it doesn't use the term nerds or geeks to describe IT workers. The reason the authors give is that the stereotype of pocket protectors and coke bottle glasses just doesn't fit any more. This is a book written for managers, and so the terminology and style (almost) always refers to the Einsteins as "your workers." To the point that with the summary at the ...
