Wow
This book was a delightful surprise. I thought it was going to be sappy, suck-up materail, but instead it is a witty and delightful look at moms and motherhood. The chapter on Native American moms is worth the price alone. We get a treatment of moms not only in America but around the world. I can honestly say there isn't a boring chapter in the book. Both "existentialism" and "irrational" become easily misused buzz words far too often applied to Kierkegaard. This book argues that such has been the case with Alasdair MacIntyre in his book AFTER VIRTUE. Fortunately, ...
