There are a couple small weaknesses in this book: you know the killer, which does lessen the suspense, and the protagonist is physically described by seeing himself in a mirror. Good, however author should have made the climax more intresting.
Definitely a good story, at such a low cost. Where the way the story was framed it creates a picture in your mind, like running movie. However , I strongly feel that the climax could have been more intresting. Further, the way environment and the scenes were described is really great.
Anyways the story is worth reading. Kudos...

It's the characters, dialogue and sense of place that draws me in and keep me there page after page. Max and Billy are great characters with a strong, involving history. The secondary characters are interesting, rich and dimensional.
