As a first time father this book was very helpful. It did not go into nearly the details that some of the other books did. It was very specific about what a man can do to help his wife through the process. Great for week to week notations / dedicated journal writers
I bought this book with my 2nd pregnancy and found it gratifying to write on a weekly basis. Most preg. journals do not have that option. I wish I had this book with my 1st pregnancy for a more detailed account to compare to my 2nd pregnancy.

This book is slightly informative if you plan on giving birth in the 1950's-60's. I found this book to contain some useful information. However I was able to find the same info just by doing some quick research on the net. What really annoyed me is that the author kept repeating the same points over and over and over again. If you would take that book and eliminate the repeted paragraphs it would shrink to being half its size.

I bought many pregnancy books and this is the only one I loved it. It is useful not only for pregnancy but also in order to know which vitamins, foods,minerals are necessary and where can you find them. It is very easy to read also. I recommend it.
