We are locals - love this book.
Full of ideas and covers all the good stuff. This is not a city resturant guide, however. Someone else gave this book 3 stars because it only told them about the highlights of what makes the Pacific Northwest special, and didn't name the 5-star resturants. I am a 4th-generation Seattle-ite and fancy resturants are not my scene. Go anywhere, eat wild salmon and a latte, then go do some more ...

Down to earth cases and solutions for retail
This book opens with a case study of a buyer's squabble about over whose territory it is to buy a certain dress. Then we get the solution and action plan about the squabble. Who in retail has not experienced this. Yet it is refreshing to hear the solution, and to read the rest of the excellent case studies in the book. My retail business is not a department store, yet every case study in ...

Devil's Disciple
This book reads more like a novel than dry non-fiction. I was hooked at the opening paragraph and couldn't put it down. It's one thing to read about a person from an outsider's view, but this author uses Dr. Holmes's own words to allow the reader to delve into the mind of this serial killer and see him for the devil he is. The blood lust of this murderer, combined with his charm and intelligence, ...
