Spanish Holiday: Or, How I Transformed the Worst Vacation Ever into the Best Summer of My Life16 reviews
Kate Cann

Avon Books, 2004

A good book to start your Summer reading
A couple years ago, I read "Spanish Holiday" to start my Summer reading and it is truly a really good book to do so. The book starts at the beginning of the summer when a group of friends go to Spain. This book is a really fast read, I remember I read it in less than a day. The book is in a first person narrative of Laura, the main character. You'll find yourself rooting for your Laura and all ...

Sex (Love Trilogy, No. 2)2 reviews

decent book, lousy title
When Kate Cann initially wrote these books, she titled them (in order) "Diving in" "In the deep end"(this one) and "sink or swim". This retitling seems like a lousy attempt to have an overused loud title and cash in on "sex sells". It may work, but I, for one, am unimpressed. Putting the title aside, I found the book itself quite decent.

In the Deep End (Kate Cann Trilogy)2 reviews

Not the Best, But Still Great.
I have read the frist book, Dive In, of the series. And in my opinion the first book is better. It seems like the second book repeats whats already in it, but thats just me. What I do love extremely about the second book is that it gives a one page on the end of the first book so that you remember but don't have to go through the book getting told pretty much the first book again in ...

Mediterranean Holiday4 reviews
Kate Cann

HarperTeen, 2007

Courtesy of Teens Read Too
Kate Cann writes a scrumptious tale of a dream vacation that features more twists and turns than a roller-coaster in MEDITERRANEAN HOLIDAY, a coming-of-age story that never fails to entertain. Chloe, a British teen, is trying to regroup and adjust to living with just her dad, after her mom leaves the family for her lover. She decides to refrain from all contact with her mother and does her ...

Go! (Love Trilogy, No. 3)2 reviews

Something Different
As obscure as the refrences to sex and the front cover is this book is really something different. although i have to admit that i didn't read the first two books, it still made sense. At first i couldn't really figure out Art and if he was good for coll or just a jerk. And seeing Coll mope over art at the beginging was really pathetic but something we all could relate to. But what was ...

Leader of the Pack1 review
Kate Cann

Scholastic, 2008

Not what I expected from Kate
As a HUGE Kate cann fan I was psyched when I found out she had a new book out. But sadly this wasnt in the same zone as her others. It was interesting but there just felt as though something was lacking. The story certains around a boy and girl who are very different but are completely attracted to each other. When the boy's rugby team starts getting in the way of there relationship things ...

Entertaining and Enjoyable
Rowan is a British teenager from England. She's like any ordinary girl, just making her way through life and enjoying the experiences along the way. On the other hand, one experience is not so pleasant. Living with her brother is a drag. He annoys Rowan all the time and is a little pest. Rowan can't be in England anymore with her family and just has to get away. She decides to become a nanny and ...

Possessing Rayne1 review

Scholastic, 2008

Book review; Possessing Rayne
Rayne sat at the end of her narrow bed next to Jelly's cot, painting her nails. It was teh end of August and the heat was vile. She's pulled the blind against the sun to cut the glare, but it made no difference. She's just had a cold shower, but she was sweating already, těher make-up melting off her pretty, pointed face like wax. Her cheap electric fan had broken yesterday and now there was ...

Grecian Holiday: Or, How I Turned Down the Best Possible Thing Only to Have the Time of My Life18 reviews
Kate Cann

HarperTeen, 2002

Good
This book was pretty good. It was a true story about someone finding out what they wany from life. It was about Shelly, who is invited to Grece after she turns down an invitaion from her controlling bf. She is having the time of her life w/o him until he showes up unannounced. The story had a nice plot yet I felt myself wanting to know more about Sarah and how she changes from being shy and timid ...
