The Bare Naked Book 3 reviews Kathy Stinson
Annick Press, 2006
Lovely book I bought this book after hearing about it from friends and it certainly lives up to the praise. Both my kids love it and it's very matter of fact about our bodies and how we are different and the same.

Dressed Up Book 1 review Kathy Stinson
Annick Press, 1990
Our son loved this book Our five year old son, who happens to be high functioning autistic, loved this book. He loves to play dress up, which is probably why he liked this book so much. He liked matching the descriptive questions with the child that is dressed that way.

Becoming Ruby 2 reviews Kathy Stinson
Penguin Books Canada, 2003
A good read It was good and thoughtful and a little disturbing as the story has some sex parts that I don't really think kids under 14 should read as it certainly bugged me for a day. On the other hand it's nice that Ruby was so truthful and probably for most her age fought so much with her mother. It made me think and I liked it. It had a dreary sad tone the whole way through. It's a short easy read saying ...

Le rouge c'est bien mieux 4 reviews Kathy Stinson
Annick Press, 1982
For everyone who's Mom has never quite understood them! This was one of my favourites as a child, and now that I've reached the ripe old age of 19, I still read it now and then. This book is brilliantly written from a kid's point of view (i.e. "juice tastes better in the red cup"), so all kids will enjoy it. I thought it was a nice touch that Kelly's mom lost patience about having everything red. That is SO true! And just for the record, my red ...

Mom and dad don't live together any more 5 reviews Kathy Stinson
Distributed in Canada and the USA by Firefly Books, 1984
A Must Read Book For Any Adult or Child of Divorce If I were to read only one book in the whole world, I would
choose "Mom and Dad Don't Live Together Anymore".
I was a teenager when my parents divorced, and I felt
devestated, like my heart was being ripped in half. I first
read this book when I was in my late twenties. I felt
so much healing from reading this book, the words on the
page allowed me to cry and know that it was o.k. Then
towards ...

Fish House Secrets 4 reviews Kathy Stinson

We think the book has to get four stars because it is written in a very good and ...

One Year Commencing 1 review Kathy Stinson
Thistledown Press, 1997
Well.... All my friends told me that I absoloutly HAD to read this book and that it was sooooo great. I took it home to read it and...it wasn't worth all that praise. It was pretty boring actually. I think maybe it's a love it or hate it type of book. I was the latter.
