straight to the point
For what it is, this is a good book. If you use Symantec anti-virus and anti-spam products, it makes all the sense in the world to have one of your people purchase the book and take the certification. I never realized there were so many options for their products, because I have always used the consumer grade as opposed to the enterprise version.

I reviewed three books for the exam; Microsoft's, Chris Sells', and the Exam Cram book. I could have passed the exam with this book alone. Be aware that this book is only good for passing the exam, though. If you want to write a real Windows-based Application, you'll have to implement many more complicated topics than are covered here. This book is exactly what an Exam Cram book should be. If you don't know the subject matter, this book will not help you pass the exam. If you are familiar with the subject matter this book fill in the gaps of your knowledge and does it very well. I read the book from cover to cover then took 3 practice exams. Having used this book to good effect I too thought I should come back and redress the balnce in ratings on this book as others have done. There is nothing wrong here, don't use it as a single source make sure you read widely and have some hands on. The only cruel joke in these pages emerges from Denver.

It's the smartest and the fastest way to get certified !
I will suggest this book to everyone who want to pass and study for the exam quickly. I have been reading this book and I found that this book is really easy to read and has a good depth. It is a "to the points" type of book, and doesn't give me too much unnecessary information like normally other book does.

Excellent book. Must have!
I used this book along with the corresponding transcender and passed the 70-218 on the first try. I also had a decent amount of hands on which is invaluable for the microsoft certs as well. I must say that this is a very well written book and I plan to buy the next in the series.
