If You Believe 13 reviews Kristin Hannah
Ballantine Books, 1993
a healing tale This is a book about finding, forgiving, loving and letting go. The characters aren't perfect, but all have good qualities. There isn't the usual falling into each others arms and living happily ever after. They work at theirs lives and fight for a chance to love. Ms.Hannah gives a good read.

Kristin Hannah is good. I have ready several of Kirstin Hannah's works, and I have never been disappointed. She does a good job of developing her characters, and the plot moves along well to conclusion. Her relationship building is one of the best.

Firefly Lane 62 reviews Kristin Hannah
St. Martin's Press, 2008
5 Stars For 'firefly lane' I highly recommend this book. I stumbled across this because the cover caught my eye. (I know that's not a way to shop for a book, but I wouldn't be here right now writing this if it wasn't for the cover) I've never heard of Kristin Hannah before & after reading 'Firefly Lane' I immediately looked for more of her books and I'm now thrilled to add Kristin to my favorite authors list. Yes, this ...

On Mystic Lake (Ballantine Reader's Circle) 105 reviews Kristin Hannah
Ballantine Books, 2004
A Beautiful Love Story This is a lovely story about love and loss. Kristin Hannah has a wonderful way of weaving a story and developing characters. I felt particularly connected to Annie and her journey of love, betrayal, and self-discovery. While this story may have been a bit predictable, it was incredibly tender and sweet. This was my second KH book (Firefly Lane--VERY good!), and most certainly not the last.

Magic Hour 37 reviews Kristin Hannah
Ballantine Books, 2007
Blown Away I have only read one other book by Kristin Hannah and that was a long time ago. Title was Once in Every Life and I thought it was the best time travel novel I've ever read and haven't read one better since. For some reason, I never bought another book by this author and I kick myself for not! I came across Magic Hour in a used book store and read the story line and immediately added it to my ...

Nice Story This story was quite heartwarming. A family torn apart and the journey to find each other again. The story was sometimes predictable and boring but was well written. The author did a great job developing the characters. Enjoyable light reading.

Comfort & Joy: A Novel 4 reviews Kristin Hannah
Ballantine Books, 2006
Beautifully written This book takes you on a journey to the very center of your soul. The center where when you think all hope is gone and there is no chance at happiness, the light at the end of the tunnel shines through for you. The book made me cry several times. I could not put it down. This is the first novel from Kristen Hannah that I read but it certainly will not be the last. This novel is beautifully ...

When Lightning Strikes 17 reviews Kristin Hannah
Ballantine Books, 1994
Lightning Strikes a chord . . . "When Lightning Strikes" definitely struck a chord with me. The basic plot of the book is as follows. Alaina (Lainie) Costanza is a romance writer, but she's no wimpy, frou-frou darling. Nope, she chain-smokes, drinks on occasion, wears tacky outfits, and is generally a hell-raiser. There are reasons for her behavior I'll get to in a moment; suffice it to say that only two things are keeping ...

This is such a cute story I sure am glad I bought this book at the grocery store a few weeks ago. The cover is so cute with this little flower wreath that I couldn't resist. An then I started reading right before Christmas and the character's trajectory completely helped me enjoy the spirit of the season.

Waiting for the Moon 13 reviews Kristin Hannah
Ballantine Books, 1995
What a beautiful, unusual romance This book took me on a ride. I thought I had bought a generic romance book (I fell for the cover, which is really pretty), read the blurb on the back, thought: sounds nice. Now I have read it, I know I have really found a keeper.
Very well fleshed out characters, both the hero and heroine are adorable. They have both had hard times (talking about an understatement there), and find love in a ...
