My 22 month old loves this book
This book is LOVED by my 22 month old daughter. We read it several times a day. This is the 2nd Patricelli book I've purchased (We own Big Little...another favorite of hers) and the illustrations are precious and the content very relatable for a toddler.

Excellent for infants!
My 8-month old loves these books. The pictures are simple but endlessly fascinating to him, and the message is simple and clear. I read this, "Yummy-Yucky" and "Quiet-Loud" every day to him and he never tires of them. (I cannot say the same for every book I want to read to him.)

Perfect for teaching toddlers the concept of volume (sound)
The illustrations in this board book are perfect for the descriptive short phrases. Our 2-year old toddler requests this book before his naptime ('silencio') and both whispers and shouts where appropriate as I am reading. my son is two years old. he just loves this book. within a week of reading him this book he knows the words. he'll say fishy? neenee?(thats what he refers to his binky as). in the book the baby asks the animals and his parents where/who has his binky. i highly recomend this book. we also have the blanket book by the same author. another great book.

Excellent addition to collection
We love this Patricelli book almost as much as the others. As usual, my toddler loved it initially because the baby in the book has nipples, a welcome detail that other books (infuriatingly) leave out.
My two-year-old is fascinated by emotions, and loves the pendulum sway of baby happy, baby sad...baby happy, baby sad. Of course you have to fill in the details and describe what's happening with ...
