VAMPIRE INTERRUPTED - BEST IN SERIES SO FAR!!!
VAMPIRE INTERRUPTED I didn't care for the last two Sand's books and hence my last two reviews on these series have been negative. I was hard pressed to pick up another Argeneau novel as they were starting to get monotonous and rather stereotyped. The rave reviews here made me give it a try. And for which I am so glad!!!! This is by far the best Argeneau novel in the series! In VAMPIRES ARE ...

Love Is Blind22 reviews
Lynsay Sands

Thorndike Press, 2007

Love is Blind
Reputed to be a menace to polite society, Lady Clarissa Crambray was indeed a danger to herself and others. In just one season, she has stepped on toes, set wigs afire and had even gone so far as to burn a gentleman's piffle. Most everyone avoids the accident-prone Lady Clarissa. Adrian Montfort, Earl of Mowbray and veteran of the Napoleonic Wars, finds himself drawn to Lady Clarissa. ...

His Immortal Embrace1 review
Lynsay Sands, Sara Blayne, Kate Huntington Hannah Howell

Kensington, 2003

great rainy day book
If you are looking for deadly vamps that are often more monster than man, these tales might seem tame to you. But if you are looking for troubled souls and woman that will risk all to be with the man they love, then you will find all these tales very heartwarming. These are not dark and deadly vamps, but romantic ones. All the tales were very well written and special. I especially loved ...

The Switch24 reviews
Lynsay Sands

Leisure Books, 1999

A funny romp....extremely enjoyable
Lynsay sands has moved up on my list to one of my favorite authors. She knows how to blend humor with sensuality, and where to put the more serious parts in the book. Her villains are always the last person you would expect and her secondary characters are essential for the plot. In this book we are introduced to Charlie and Elizabeth Carland, twins who are escaping their greedy uncle ...

Love Bites (Argeneau Vampires, Book 2)39 reviews
Lynsay Sands

Love Spell, 2004

Love Lindsay Sands Books!
I actually started out in the middle of the series and then back tracked to start at the beginning. I have loved every book and this one was terrific. I enjoy the dark vampire books, but I also enjoy the light ones like this is. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters in this book and it actually made me laugh out loud and grin a lot. A vampire story doesn't have to be dark and full of angst for me ...

The Key20 reviews
Lynsay Sands

Leisure Books, 1999

Funny and Sexy
I just love Lynsay Sands books because she doesn't have a problem with making her characters less than perfect which makes them appealling. This is the story of Duncan and Iliana who are ordered to marry by the King of England in order to protect Iliana's mother from a lord who is attempting to force her into marriage. By marrying her to Duncan, he is keeping Iliana out of way of being used as ...

awesome
I loved this book, I ordered the series, with the exception of the last two books which i already owned. I've read these books plenty of times since I got them and I can't put them down. A must read for vampire lovers, or should I say Immortal lovers? heh.

Mistletoe & Magic (Leisure Historical Romance)3 reviews
Lisa Cach, Stobie Piel, ...

Leisure Books, 2006

Brilliant work of art:
OK, I don't see the spot where authors can comment on their books anymore - or maybe I missed it, so I shall review us instead! First of all, the stories are all different, all fun, some touching, & mine (Here Comes Santa Claus) inspired because I was in a grumpy holiday mood. Not everyone is perky at Christmas - I'd been shopping & fighting in line for Pokemon Yellow. So my story tells the ...

The Deed22 reviews
Lynsay Sands

Leisure Books, 1997

I love stuf like this.
The Deed is a fantastic read. It delivers a funny, heartwarming story. This is the third Lynsay Sands book that I have read, and I really like here writing. It's witty and she tells a darn good story. Anyways, my only problem with the story, which are not major ones, are this: The heroine is a bit naïve and borders on TSTL (Too Stupid to Live) but Lindsey Sands manages to escape me ...

Five Gold Rings - Delightful Anthology
These charming stories are all set at Menton Castle during Christmastime 1155 and feature tales from the perspectives of the minstrels, hosts, guests, and servants. I recommend reading them in order. The first, "Two Turtledoves," is the minstrels' story and was my second favorite. Pippa and Damien are not what they seem. Great ending. There is some confusion about the author; the title page ...

The Eternal Highlander15 reviews
Hannah Howell, Lynsay Sands

Kensington, 2004

VERY SUPRISED
I basically bought this book because of the Scottish theme. There wasn't many reviews so I was a little worried. BUT, this book was great. I loved how the two stories were similiar, but different. They were somewhat short, but they held my interest the whole time. I also loved the whole vampire theme. This book is worth reading, and I am happy to add this one to my collection.

Highland Thirst10 reviews
Hannah Howell, Lynsay Sands

Kensington, 2007

If you liked eternal highlander...
Eternal highlander is the first book in this series. This book features Hemming MacNachton (son of Efrica & Jankyn) & Tearlach MacAdie (son of Eva & Connall MacAdie). Eternal Highlander was my favorite so far, but this is a close second. I love the combination of danger, passion and humor. Once you have read this one, you will want to read all the books featuring the MacNactons & Macadies!

The Reluctant Reformer20 reviews
Lynsay Sands

Dorchester Publishing Company, 2002

Humourous tale...
I enjoyed reading this particular take on mistaken identity. It isn't quite as humorous as "Love is Blind", but Sands had me *crying* and laughing out loud at the animal excrement scene in the beginning-middle of the book. I couldn't even read the pages anymore I was crying so hard. Anyway, I loved Maggie's character and her spunk and determination to live her life as she saw fit. I imagine she ...

The Loving Daylights15 reviews

Love Spell, 2003

Not a romance reader, but loved this
Coming from a home, whose male occupants know all the James Bond movies by heart, I enjoyed a laugh riot with this novel. There was so many tongue in cheek comedy through this entire book I could hardly put it down. Jane (female James) Spyrus (come on, who are you fooling) is lighthearted, goofy, unaware, and intelligent. The many men in her life are sexy, dangerous, and intriging. With ...

A Mother's Way Romance Anthology8 reviews

Love Spell, 2002

Very highly recommended
Regardless of time or place, mothers have always manipulated their children's marriage choices, ostensibly for the child's own good. Just in time for mother's day, four of Love Spell's most engaging authors offer short stories of romances proving that mother knows best. This anthology is very highly recommended. "Mother, May I?" by Lynsay Sands (1353): King Edward orders Lord Jonathan to choose a ...
