Delightful Book
This is a wonderful book for reading aloud. It's short and sweet and very clever. My almost three-year-old loves it, as do his older friends. Five year olds think it's really funny, and like to talk about the pictures. The illustrations are half the fun; I notice something new each time.

This book is great to read out loud. We discovered this at the library and have added it to our home library because we all love the story and pictures. It has fun and snappy word sequences that make it appealing to very young children, and I think my daughter will enjoy it for several years.

This book was one of the best I have ever read! Margaret Mahy's sense of humor is wonderful and made the book a delight to read.
