The Romagnolis' Table: Italian Family Recipes3 reviews
Margaret Romagnoli

Little Brown & Co (T), 1975

IF I HAD TO CHOOSE ONLY ONE ITALIAN COOK BOOK...
This is the best Italian cookbook we have ever used. Usually, I consider a cook book a good buy if I can find one or two "favorite" type recipes in it. Hey, this one must have ten or twelve and we are still counting. the recipes are very basic, authentic and simple. Wonderful pasta sauces. A "green chicken cacciatora" done with rosemarie instead of tomatoes. We just bought a second copy ...

The New Romagnolis' Table1 review
Margaret Romagnoli, G. Franco Romagnoli

Atlantic Monthly Press, 1992

Authentic and delicious recipes
My parents used the original print of this book religiously when I was growing up. It's full of great Italian recipes, from meatballs (the best you'll ever have) to lasagna (red and white, of course.) This is Italian home cooking at it's finest.

Another tried and true classic
If you're looking for a great Italian cookbook and love seafood, look no farther. The recipes are easy to follow and the notes give insight into what you're making. I've made a dozen or so dishes from this, and we've never been disappointed. The cacciucco (Tuscan Fish Stew) is to die for!

Carnevale Italiano: The Romagnolis' Meatless Cookbook1 review
Margaret Romagnoli, G. Franco

Little Brown & Co (P), 1984

Easy, interesting and delicious -- worth tracking down
After spending three hours last night preparing a just okay dish from The Greens cookbook, I had to jump on the net and find out if my favorite cookbook is still in print. Alas, it isn't, but in case anyone wanders to this page, here is what you can expect if you find this book somewhere: The meatless in the title means this book has vegetable and fish recipes. These are very traditional ...
