Dream Into Reality
I purchased this book for two reasons: I love Margaret Wander Bonanno's writing, and I've always been intrigued by "The Cage" the ST episode that the book is based on. Chris Pike is a fascinating character, and I was curious about his past. Ms. Bonanno vividly paints his early family life and his career with rich characterizations so the reader can understand how he developed into the driven man ...

~ Earth's first contact with Vulcuns~
You won't find a better book in the Star Trek genre. Well written, close to canon. Bonanno captures Kirk,Spock and McCoy thoroughly, you can hear their voices as you read the story. Excellent, if you are a Trek fan don't miss this classic.

Bravissima!!!
I remember how thoroughly I enjoyed reading Margaret Wander Bonanno's early Star Trek novels, Dwellers in the Crucible and Strangers from the Sky, way back in the days when I didn't know a Romulan from a doorknob. I knew then that only an exceptional storyteller could weave a Trek tale that even a non-Trekker like me could follow and enjoy. You can imagine, therefore, how much more gratifying ...

Angela Lansbury: A Biography1 review
Margaret Wander Bonanno

St Martins Pr, 1987

"Angela Lansbury: A Biography"- Review by Deborah Wilkinson
Margaret Wander Bonanno's biography is well-worth reading, despite the fact that it was published quite some time ago (in 1987). The author clearly admires Angela Lansbury. The biography provides a warm and respectful recounting of Ms. Lansbury's life and career up to that point without fawning. The subject of the biography is treated as a real person, not as an idol.

Probe18 reviews
Margaret Wander Bonanno

Star Trek, 2003

A readers' review of Probe
This story is a continuation of ST:IV (yes, that 'save the whales' ST movie) It deals with Romulans in the way ST:VI dealt with Klingons, in that a peace treaty is being entertained. Altho ST:Nemesus was a story of peace with Romulan Empire, this novel was written before Nemesis. Novel starts off interestingly, but soon becomes droll. No ship battles, it focuses on a change in the Romulan govt ...
