The best cookbook on the market
I was given the 1964 edition of The Joy of Cooking by my mother when I was in my teens and there is no better than this one in our opinion. Mine had fallen apart from years worth of use and the one that I received was in practically mint condition for a 40 year old version. I would recommmed this to all who love to cook.

Lovely Design & Yummy Food
This book has the nicest page layout of photographs and recipes I've seen in a long time. It has recipes for simple things like different kinds of hot cocoa to cinnamon rolls, oatmeal, and tarts. The picture of the apple walnut muffins makes me salivate! This would make a great gift.

great recipes and pics
i love this book, everything is written well and the recipes are delicious and easy to follow. the ONLY thing i would say is that it doesn't have a ton of recipes. i may use it for one or two, but i always go back to martha for her huge selection of every kind of hors d'oeuvre in the universe. her book is amazing. but, this is great to have and i use it often.

All About Grilling, is a refreshing book of new ideas for outdoor cooking and entertaining. I was very impressed with the different combinations of ingredients, the presentation of the meal, the grilled side dishes, and the rubs and sauces.
