Bone-Jarring Brilliance!
This is book is a MUST for any physician. It provides an easy to use resource for all things orthopaedic. Would make an excellent text for many medical schools. Also particularly helpful to show to patients in explaining their problem.

Excellent Atlas of Orthopedics.
I was excited to finally receive the book, and see that it lived up to my expectations. As a resident I had a copy of Mark Miller's review book in my backpack at all times. When I saw that he had authored an atlas of sports medicine I placed my order before the edition was published. I found the book to be easy to read, up to date, and pertinent to my practice. I found the images and ...

Great Resource
If you are looking for a single source that looks at all the various ways that SFBT can be applied, look no further. This work not only helps to define SFBT, but also gives good, practical ways to apply SFBT to your counseling situations. This book is a must have for any clinician, hospital chaplain, or minister. NOTE: This is more of a textbook than a coffee table book. Great tool, but also ...

Stop Shifting Responsibility For The Failure of The Theory!
An inspirational follow-up to Escape from Babel: this book gives both a robust challenge to the phenomenon of resistance and the labelling of some therapy veterans as `impossible' cases. Over the five-year study period, the authors encouraged other therapists and agencies to refer `impossible' cases - known in the UK as `heartsink' clients - to them. Anne Wilson Schaef argues that there would be ...

An observant participant
John Quincy Adams Campbell was well named. As determined and purposeful as the president he was named for, he led a life similar in focus on principal. Almost all of the Civil War diaries, Union or Confederate, recount days of slogging through mud, choking in the dust of other marching soldiers, and of camp boredom. Quincy Campbell, however, is an observant man, a newspaper reporter by ...

Challenge your thinking about doing therapy
This book challenged what I was taught to do when doing therapy. The book inspired me--made me think about new ways to view "stuck" cases. The case examples were powerful and the writing was excellent. A bit of interspersed humor made the reading interesting. I highly reccommend this book to anyone in the field of therapy. In fact, I suggest reading this book before going in to the field so ...

What the world needs!
I am especially glad to have stumbled upon Escape From Babel sooner rather than later in my career. In a most straightforward way it cuts to the chase about what it means to be a part of effective therapy; it reminds that clients (and their experiences) are nothing less than extraordinary when given the opportunity to have a role in their therapy; and it will encourage you to look again at the ...

Excellent review of orthopaedic sports medicine
Excellent reference. Along the lines of, but just not as good as, Miller's classic Review of Orthopaedics.
The Nazareth Jesus Knew

Fantastic photographs!
This book contains innumerable fantastic photographs, information on daily life in Jesus' time and illuminating facts about his teachings. For example, with the Prodigal Son, when he put his signet ring on his finger, he gave him the ability to sign documents in his own name. When he kissed him on the neck, he honored him, for the one of lesser status would reach lower, and at the extreme a slave ...

aka Teach Yourself Apache In 5 Minutes
I got this book to learn on web-servers and Apache was chosen because it's free. After 5 minutes of reading the book and I got Apache 1.3.12 up-n-running and had my first web-site on display. I don't know how this book is on the advanced topics, but it's excellent for all that want to setup a web-server.
