Despite its somewhat-less-than-creative title, this is actually a good mystery/adventure book for boys aged 8-11. I mean, it's got a helicopter, a pet raccoon, a mysterious guy with a tattoo (well, they used to be scary, anyway), and a sheriff named Curly... what more could you want?
