Our daughter has taken this book out of her pre-school library 5 weeks in a row. We all love the wonderful, lively illustrations. A Perfect "scary" story for young readers!
This is a really fun way to introduce suspense to young readers. My daughter (age 4) loves this story and enjoys "reading" it by herself. This story is very good. I like how Mary Jane Auch switched the characters narrating the story's chapters. For example, first it was the dog, Arful who was narrating a chapter, then it was a kid named Josh. I think that's cool. Overall I'd say this book was really good. WOW.

What a fantastic book! It is original, clever, and funny. I like the plot, because although Princess Paulina misses parts of her life as a princess, she isn't bitter about no longer living in a castle and later tosses away the opportunity to be a princess again and enjoys life as a "commoner."
