Circle of Kindness: An Irish Journey of the Heart3 reviews
Jana Kolpen, Mary Tiegreen

"Stewart, Tabori and Chang", 2006

What a Little Treasure
This book is just as beautiful as Jana Koplen's other books. They make perfect gifts but I always buy one for myself too. It's just the thing to read when you're feeling a little down. "Pistoulet" was so wonderful, I ordered several of this one for Christmas. Everyone loved it and wanted to know if there were more in the series. You can even try the recipes if you have a little imagination ...

Jana Kolpen, Mary Tiegreen

Stewart, Tabori and Chang, 2004

Dancing with the Moon: A Story of Love at the Villa della Luna
This is a truly a delightful book. The story takes you on a journey that unfolds in a host of creative and clever ways for you to actually participate in the story. It's cards, and letters are tidbits of fun, while it's scrumptious recipes are little morsels of love. It is an inspirational story that lasts with you long after you read the last page.

1,001 Reasons to Love Horses (1001 Reasons to Love)4 reviews
Sheri Seggerman, Mary Tiegreen

Harry N. Abrams, 2005

Not just for horse lovers
I thought I knew all the reasons to love horses but Sheri and Mary have catalogued just a few more (1001 to be exact). The appeal of this book is not limited to horse lovers, though. Each page is a work of art. The photographs are captivating. The reasons are compelling. The pages are each pulled together with beautiful illustrations and borders. 1001 Reasons to Love Horses has given me the ...

May I Feel Said He6 reviews
E. E. Cummings, Mary Tiegreen

Stewart, Tabori, & Chang, 1995

WOW!
This is one of the most beautiful combinations of poetry and art. The poem is really quite beautiful. The art is inspirational. I don't knwo that I'd give it to a couple for their wedding though, cause the poem is about a man who is cheating on his wife....So don't take the advice of the other reviewer, the couple might look at you funny!

1,001 Reasons to Love America (1,001 Reasons to Love)1 review
Hubert Pedroli, Mary Tiegreen

Harry N. Abrams, 2004

A positive spin
Just the sort of title that publishers love, so much so that Stewart, Tabori & Chang have trademarked the words '1,001 reasons to love...' so expect to see more of these books. The six chapters, Land of the Free, American Experience, From Sea to Shining Sea, Made in America and the American Dream, use the basic reason text but frequently expand it into detailed explanations and additional ...

1,001 Reasons to Love Dogs (1001 Reasons)3 reviews
Christine Miele, Mary Tiegreen

"Stewart, Tabori and Chang", 2006

1,001 Reasons to love this book!
I just got this book from Amazon thanks to Amazon's speedy delivery which I much appreciate. The book is small but heavy. It is full of great photographs of all breeds. It even has the famous 9/11 Golden Retriever dog being scaffolded from one area of the wreckage to another. I can tell already that this is going to be one of my favorite dog books!

One Unique Author & One Great Book Designer=5 Stars
The Secrets of Pistoulet is an uplifting, tactile creation of recipes, illustrations and humor, all bound together by a dynamite cover. This book is as much a pleasure to give to others as it was to receive.

Women of Discovery: A Celebration of Intrepid Women Who Explored the World4 reviews
Milbry Polk, Mary Tiegreen

Clarkson Potter, 2001

Much needed subject finally in print
I've looked for years for a basic book about women explorers and women who have been adventurous through the ages. Finally here is something that is beautiful, readable, and a great introduction to a group that has been overlooked by most historians. A must read especially for young women/teens who are influenced by the social and cultural values still pushed upon them in society. Great ...

The family dinner is the one moment during the day when we sit down together to enjoy a good meal, engage in lively conversation, and, too often, experience mass hysteria. 1,001 Reasons to Love Golf5 reviews
Mary Tiegreen, Hubert Pedroli

Harry N. Abrams, 2003

Great Book, Great Gift!
I am often searching for gifts for those men in my life who don't seem to want for anything I could buy. But there I was in Barnes & Noble where this great new golf book was being featured. Although not a golfer myself, I thought the design and photograph's were terrific. I immediately bought one for my brother-in law and another for a friend, both who are avid golfer's and happen to share the ...
