Great Gift
I received this book as a gift from my nephew, who is a huge fantasy fan (Lord of the Rings, Narnia, etc.) and was prepared not to like it, but found it to be incredibly well-written and enveloping. Once I started reading, the story drew me in and had me rooting for Reiko. The ending seems left open for a sequel -- does anyone know if the author is going to write a second one?
