Just the Way You Are 11 reviews Max Lucado
Scholastic, Inc., 2000
Culturally Diverse or Not, a Wonderful Book I had to respond after reading the post of another user. If they had read any of Max Lucado's books on the Wemmicks (you are special, you are mine and just the way you are) she would know that Max Lucado and the people working for Mr. Lucado do take cultural diversity under consideration. This book is a phenomenal tale of the Love our King is waiting for us to show him. We do not have to be ...

3:16: The Numbers of Hope-Teen Edition 15 reviews Max Lucado
Thomas Nelson, 2008
Bringing words to life... Max Lucado is one of my favorite Christian authors, in that he has a style of writing that takes you beyond the words and into the emotions of people and places. In 3:16: The Numbers of Hope, he uses the verse John 3:16 for a number of mini-sermons that place emphasis on each word and phrase of the verse. It's an excellent read, and forced me to stop and actually contemplate all that the verse ...

Facing Your Giants: A David and Goliath Story for Everyday People 43 reviews Max Lucado
Thomas Nelson, 2006
A "Must Read" for anyone dealing with real life problems We've all heard the story of David... he's the shepherd boy with a killer sling who becomes the hero of Israel after posting the biggest battle upset of all time. It's a great story for the Sunday School crowd... right up there with Noah's ark and Jonah and the great fish.
Leave it to Max Lucado to take this familiar story and show us how to apply it to our lives today. Just as David faced a ...

Daily Grace starts my day right I searched for a book that would give me the necessary words to start my day right and this is truly it. Scripture Memory Songs: Verses About Being Special (Hermie & Friends) 2 reviews
Thomas Nelson, 2006
Awesome for Children Who Love Hermie My kids can't get enough of listening to "Hermie and Friends". The songs are perfect for teaching children Scripture - and they don't even realize it. I was amazed the other day to hear my 3 year old singing his little heart out and he was singing the Bible!!!!One day I was teaching my daughter Ps. 139 and she started singing the song to the verse. We have five of the CD's and love them all.

Scripture Memory Songs: Verses About Being Brave (Max Lucado's Hermie & Friends) 2 reviews
Thomas Nelson, 2006
Instills God's Word In the Heart of Your Child I am overall pleased with the quality of the Hermie and Friends Scripture Memory Songs CD as it has helped my three year old (and me) learn some key scripture verses pertaining to being brave, unafraid, and trusting in God's pure goodness, faithfulness, and divine providence. This is a useful tool to help instill faith and God's Word in a child's heart since this is truly what will guide them ...
