Two Teachers
This book has good info. Not only Spanish words, but a LOT of cultural history, maps, photos, etc. They have really good, clear, explanations. I used this book for my Spanish class. But, the book alone won't get you to speak fluent Spanish. Of course, my teacher played a HUGE role in teaching me, but theis book is great. Who knows, maybe if we finished the whole book, I'd be fluent, but it IS ...

Dissapointed in Florida
The title would lead one to believe that there is actually an audio portion to this book. What there is, however, are 74 pages that are of absolutely no use because there is no tape or CD included. confusing
I am a fourth year spanish student, and this is the first year we had textbooks. These were the series of books chosen. I don't know about the other ones, but this book is seriously confusing. Much of the grammer covered is not covered extensively enough in explanation, and many of the exercises are too repetitive to do much good in the long run. Interesting, but Cluttered
I think this text presents the information needed to teach French I, but it is terribly hard to tell. I'm currently using it as a home school text and find it so cluttered with pictures and graphics that it is difficult to use. Apparently, the student is supposed to learn grammar by osmosis as the rules and needed information such as regular and irregular verb endings are not presented as such ...
