Stink and the Incredible Super-Galactic Jawbreaker (Stink) 8 reviews Megan Mcdonald
Candlewick, 2007
Stink rules! Not only is the book about Judy's younger brother, Stink, but it's written for the younger reader as well. The type is larger and the book is not as long as the Judy Moody books. Again, perfect for a young reader. I love Judy Moody books as the dynamic of kids is really well written. Their behavior, thoughts, the things they say, everything, is well portrayed. In my opinion, far better than Junie ...

Stink is as happy as a pig in slop. Stink is as happy as a pig in slop. He and his friends, Webster and Sophie, are on a class field trip at the science museum --- and the exhibit is called "Gross-Me-Out: The Wonderful World of Smelly Stuff." Meet Julie: An American Girl (American Girls Collection) 6 reviews Megan McDonald
American Girl, 2007
In a world of burnt-out Britney's and tarnished idols... In a world of broken-down, drug-addicted teen stars and pop princesses with tarnished crowns, it is refreshing to read a book about a young girl with strong moral fortitude and solid goals.
Julie Albright, the latest American Girl, is a ten year old girl living in 1970s San Francisco. In the first book, Meet Julie, we learn that her parents have recently divorced, forcing Julie and her sister ...

The Sisters Club 10 reviews Megan Mcdonald
Candlewick, 2008
We both were laughing! This is a wonderfully funny book with an engaging story about three sisters. My 8 year old daughter loved it so much that she insisted on reading it out loud to me. She was rolling on the floor laughing and had me in stitches too. Megan McDonald connects with kids in an utterly humorous way. Her other books...the Judy Moody series and the Stink series are equally as fun to read and excellent ...

Judy Moody Declares Independence (Judy Moody) 6 reviews Megan Mcdonald
Candlewick, 2007
THERE'S MERRIMENT IN JUDY'S PURSUIT OF FREEDOM As legions of young readers have happily learned there's nobody, absolutely nobody like Judy Moody. She's fun, feisty and, yes, at times incorrigible. She doesn't much care for school or spending too much time with her pesky kid brother, Stink (her aversions are not necessarily stated by order of importance to her).
What she does like at the moment is being in the Cradle of Liberty, Boston ...

An interesting historical read When Florrie's widowed mother remarries, she and her brother Jem must become a part of a historical event rarely depicted in young adult historical fiction. Though it is exciting to have such an adventure, Florrie can't help but worry ...
