Books on Tape, 2007

A Great Read!!!!
I gobbled this book up in a couple of days. I couldn't put it down once I had picked it up. I am a great lover of historical fiction and am glad to have this book as part of my library. If you've read other books on Nefertiti you'll really enjoy this rendition. It is told from the perspective of her sister who's viewpoint is withdrawn enough to bring you the reader right into the room.

Classical Rhetorics and Rhetoricians: Critical Studies and Sources

The great philosophers and statesmen of Greece and Rome formulated rules and strategies for effective argumentation, and their writings shaped the history of Western civilization ...

A Wonderful Novel!
It's not often I give a five-star rating to a novel, but Michelle Moran has done it again and written another absolutely riveting novel set in ancient Egypt. This is the epic story of the rise of Nefertari from tainted origins (she was the niece of Nefertiti) to the chief wife of Ramses the Great. The court intrigues are riveting and the author weaves historical events together to create an ...

Deborah Houy, Michelle Kodis, ...

Dutton Adult, 1998

The Invisible Dimension of Human Attraction.
Just because you can't see or consciously sense that something is there doesn't mean it isn't. This book is an eye-opening presentation on how pheromones can influence our moods, emotions, and desires. Although we normally associate pheromones with animals and insects, it is also simply a part of being human. Scientific experiments recounted within validate the effectiveness of the power of ...

Twentieth-Century Rhetorics and Rhetoricians: Critical Studies and Sources
Michael G. Moran, Michelle Ballif

Greenwood Press, 2000

Rhetoric and rhetorical theory have been gaining in prominence throughout the 20th century. As leaders in all fields give careful attention to issues in communication, rhetoric becomes increasingly central to a range of disciplines. Many of these leaders have shaped rhetorical theory through their work in other fields, and rhetoric becomes more and more difficult to define and delimit. This reference is a guide to major trends and developments ...
