This is a reprint of an english book so the the artists are largely english. Although the page size is quite generous, the book often reprints multiple pages on each page and otherwise uses a lot of white space that reduces the impact of the book. McSweeney's Quarterly Concern Issue 13 is a much better sampler for about the same price.
