strange - in a good way
I haven't read the book, but the play is very worthwhile. I wanted to say 'fun', which it is, but is also disturbing, hilarious, thought provoking (if you let it), and overall just a really good investment of your time, money and effort to get there (there = Chopin Theater at Division, Milwaukee and Ashland in Chicago, and apparently now also somewhere in New York).

These plays read very well, and I have seen them both in their original runs. I was absolutely thrilled when this book came out: I had become a fan of Mickle's writing and anyone who has seen one of his plays can tell you his style begs to be printed and published.
