Dumas'Classic Tale Of Intrigue And Adventure
Alexandre Dumas, author of "The Three Musketeers" and the "Man In the Iron Mask", has given the literary world the adventure novel, forever bringing it to the level of the classic. The Count of Monte Cristo is mainly a story of revenge. The Romanticism in which the novel is characterized and the Napoleonic France for the setting, sets the mood for this nearly psychologically thrilling story that ...

Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is a novel I think evrone should read at least once before they die. Lots of good detail. Out of every print of J&H published, I like the great illustrated classic one the best. Lots of cool pictures, and if you have kids this is a great way to show them the story. If you like this you should also rad the Invisble man.

Illustrated Classics are excellent reading for under 13.

My granddaughter has a way of breaking men's hearts and I thought it necessary that she read this book and find out about Miss Havesham's way of breaking men's hearts. The book went out immediatly.

Jack London - Part Prolific Novelist, Part Wolf
After reading "The Call of the Wild" or more precisely, after being transferred to another place and time, or even more to the point after being totally submerged into the being of this animal, I'm left completely awe-struck by London's work. To see what Buck saw, to feel the forces and the instincts that he felt... that is the power of this book. Here's a passage from the third chaper to ...
