Hard to put down!!!
Great read!!! Very exciting and attention grabbing. I read it in 2 weeks. Jenna has had a very sad and eventful life. This gives her a great new respect for the woman she has become. I learned a lot! The "industry" is not at all like the image it has been given.

The Game
Thanks Style, not only have you given hope to shlubs like me, but you have demonstrated that self-improvement, while done to get women, is still a good thing. Over the last 3 years you have done little more than learn how to become an interesting person. I only wish that some of the bores in my life would take the time to learn how to be a little more interesting. Of course, living in Washington ...

COULD DO WITHOUT THE CRUE, BUT NOT WITHOUT THIS BOOK
I picked up this book after reading Nikki Sixx's "The Heroin Diaries" (also great). I'm not a fan of Motley Crue, but this book captured my imagination. The members of the band and associated business partners really pulled me in. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys sex, drugs, and/or rock and roll.

Quite a nice collection
I came across this at a used book store, and freaked out on the spot. Flipping through the pages, I saw dozens of familiar east coast flyers - including the flyer for my first rave, Ultraworld's Glow (eastern Maryland, 1994), flyers for other parties I'd been to, parties I wish I'd gone to, parties my brother went to, parties I'd forgotten about, and of course plenty that I had never seen ...

From history to prediction
Not only was this book a facinating review of history, but it's breadth was facinating. It's impact is being felt in many areas as I finally read it, because so many places and speakers quote from it. I can only recommend it as they capture certain aspects of where we've been and where we're possibly going, and what we can do about it. It's also helped me make some sense of the growing trends ...

absolutely eye-opening
This quite possibly could turn out to be the most important book I've ever read. To be more accurate, the white book may be. The black book is a good read, and offers insight into the human condition and society, but the white covered book, the Stylelife Challenge, is nothing less than the Cliff Notes to the fundamentals of human attraction. It's a refresher course in projecting charisma for ...

This analytical historical model holds up well 16 years later.
I think Strauss and Howe are on to something. Remember we are in the realm of social sciences, and no analytical model is ever 100% correct; if you reach 60% that's good. I think Howe and Strauss cleared this hurdle by a wide margin. I support my opinion on the following considerations. First, based on all the different generations I have met so far the Strauss and Howe model fits well. ...

All U Wanted 2 KnowAboutRadio(but didn't know where to find)
Pretty cool collection of essays on radio. Found pieces I'd been looking all over for in English by Dadaist Kurt Schwitters and French theorist Felix Guattari and Futurist F.T. Marinetti. Add to that writing by everyone from Bertolt Brecht to Hakim Bey to Negativland to Arnold Schoenberg to LaMonte Young to the U.S. Office of Censorship to the Emperor of Japan, and you have the most mind-opening ...

generational understanding
This book along with the book "Generations" and many others written by Neil Howe and William Strauss are some of my favorites. They have changed the way I look at the world. If you want to understand your parents world, or grandparents or children's frame of reference, these books are outstanding. My kids are both Millennials and this author's description fits them totally.

A study of the algebraic properties of compact right topological semigroups in general and the Stone-Cech compactification of a discrete semigroup in particular. Several powerful applications to combinatorics, primarily to the branch of combinatorics known as Ramsey Theory, are given. Connections with topological dynamics and ergodic theory are also presented. The text is essentially self-contained and does not require any prior mathematical ...

Hilarious
This and Rick Vietch's Can't Get No are mandatory foundations of any early 21st centruy collection. The book is above analysis, anyone who attempts wordy critique has missed the entire point of the book, is the the target of the book's irreverence, and is not to be taken seriously.

I finally understand myself!
After long being accused by writers as being "slackers" and "apathetic," finally a book comes along that explores Generation X in the historical context of being the 13th Generation - an exploration that forces the reader to reconsider their opinion of our misunderstood generation. Mr. Strauss explains that no generation can be defined in a vaccuum. Instead one must understand the preceeding ...

Great as a novel, fascinating as non-fiction
Even if this book was total fiction, it would be a great read. Stories about geeks that find their mojo are always fun. But what's fascinating is that it's real. This book isn't so much a how-to-pick-up-women guide as it is a biography of all the people that have been hawking techniques for doing it over the past few years. You can learn a lot about the various characters and pick-up styles ...
