I understood Flash and vb.net, but I never really could grasp how to put the two together. I really like the way this book shows me how. It's easy to understand, but not so remedial that I didn't learn. Awesome examples also. Great Job.

Gets the job done, but doesn't explain too well how.
Well, if you are looking for practical answers, that's your book. If, however, you want to understand what it is that you are doing then you better look for another book. There is a lot of source code, and the book is well organized by task, but as I said it lacks in deeper explainations.

I too bought this book for its coverage of RDO. Yes there are a few issues related to it's early release date (it takes about 15 minutes to update every rdoPreparedStatement reference in the book to rdoQuery). And there is a little code debugging. I'm very love this book, but the publisher should published the source code on the web, The CD just broken so I lost the source and some utilities from CD. I try to find the code from the publisher web site but there is no result. Unlike Wrox Press, they published the source code on the web for each book which easy to update and correction. Finally, the source code should be published on the web.
