Nice book for this hard exam
This book prepares you verry well for the exam. Its not a big book but its very concice and lets you practice most of the topics you read. The requirements to study for this book are to have a few virtual machines to setup up a local network with a server which has some server roles and few clients. Just the right level
I enjoyed working through this book. It was written in a pleasant administrator to administrator style, and I especially liked the "Why this chapter matters", and "Troubleshooting Labs". Nice touch. What I especially appreciated, is that the exercises don't take you through every mouse click. They often just say "do this". Great Prep Material!
If you read the chapters, perform the practice labs, and work out the answers to the review questions (CD is helpful for this); you'll pass, no troubles. All 70-620 objectives are covered as thoroughly as needed. I even purchased access to sample test questions from MeasureUp, but found the samples from this book to be significantly more relevent to the actual exam.

This product is far superior to the proscribed Microsoft course books that you will get in a classroom setting. I basicly tossed them aside and concentrated on using this before I took my exam. Good enough for the 70-236 cert
First the negatives + Loads of mainly minor editing mistakes everywhere, the main body of the text and Q+A at the end of every chapter, + The additional tests on the CD are pretty good, but annoyingly the Q+A are not alligned with the book. Having achieved NT, 2000, and now 2003 MCSE certification, I've found the Microsoft Press books to be mixed bags. This one, however, is excellent. Weighing in at nearly 1500 pages, it covers a lot of ground.
