Excellent Supplement to Text
Great supplement to the text. There is so much material to know and this helps to take the important points from the text and helps a student apply it. I used this as a study guide with the text and did very well in the course. I recommend this study guide to all nursing students.

A must have
If you have the text book to match then you will want this handbook! It was very useful to study with as well as use in clinicals. It is set up like the text book but also has sections on medications as well as procedures. Very useful to have the medical Spanish in the back as well as common sign language hand signals. Worth the cost!

Great reference for NCC Maternal-Newborn certification
There were several recommended books to study for the NCC certification, but I found this one the most complete. It explained things more in-depth than most of the standard Maternal-Newborn books that I have read. The only caution I have is that the book was published in 1999, so some of our guidlines of care have changed in the last 5 years.
