A bloody blast
Marvel's MAX line has usually been more than worthwhile, and Terror Inc. is a prime example. Written by David Lapham (Stray Bullets, Daredevil VS The Punisher), Terror Inc. revolves around the cursed and frequently decomposing Mr. Terror, who due to his curse must often replace his rotting limbs with fresh parts. Terror also runs his own private espionage organization, and soon enough is duped ...

Very Good
Though it's very long and in some parts poorly drawn, this compilation showing Kang's final stand is very well written. You find romance, laughing, thrilling, drama and a lot of action in it. And a lot of inactive avengers take part of the story as well, for the delight of fans who can see again Stingray, Black Knight and others.

Witty As Ever
This book was amazing; an excellent combination of sarcasm, action, suspense, and drama. The storyline can be a bit confusing if you haven't already read the first book, "If Looks Could Kill", so I recommend reading that first. The artwork is superb, bringing the plot and dialogue to life. Deadpool is his usual sarcastic-insane-doesn't-know-when-to-shut-up mercenary self while Cable provides a ...

love it
i'm going to have to thoroughly disagree with the previous reviewers of this title. in nightwing, under the direction of chuck dixon, and even in the soon to be ended run of devin grayson, i find a thoroughly enjoyable comic experience. mr. dixon has succeeded in creating a new world outside of gotham for nightwing, complete with a new set of rogues. batman's villains have become ...

the best iron man
First, I'm not a huge Iron Man fan, though I thought after this book I might become one (alas, not I) because this is what Iron Man should be about, not the suit but the man. And Tony Stark is a weak man (as alcoholics are), but this book really pulled it all out. Loved it, in fact, it is the only Iron Man book I've found so far that I liked. You really see something dark in Stark coming out.

A Collector's Review
This Book is spectacular, I highly recommend this book as an essential evolution of the Iron Man character. The Art work inked in this comic book series is better and superior to the artwork in Iron Man: Extremis, which I also purchased; but I like this book much better because it is inked in an enhanced traditional comic book fashion that is colorful, bright, dramatic, intriguing, exciting, ...

And this is where it starts to go downhill
I originally liked this series. I really did. I first picked up the original Deadpool series (this was after Fabian's mini-series work and Deadpool's appearances in X-force)and loved it. Fabian started out ok with this series, the first few TPB's are worth picking up. But it's about here when he stops caring about all the character development and changes to the character of Deadpool that I ...

They're Back
Deadpool and Cable star together (ironically) in this collection of the comic series cable and Deadpool. I, being a MAJOR fan of Deadpool, couldn't resist the temptation to pool out the money to buy this book, and I wasn't disappointed. From panel to panel, through all the witty banter and sarcastic remarks and one-liners, I was engrossed. Deadpool was brought back with great precision and Cable ...

Mr. McCarty is wrong
I just want to point out that the reviewer Mr. McCarty is incorrect when he states that The Man Who Laughs is somehow derivative of Batman Begins. Batman Begins was written and filmed long after The Man Who Laughs was published. Disregard his review of TMWL because of this fact. TMWL is a wonderfully written and illustrated tale of The Dark Knight and The Joker. Highly recommended and easily ...

With Cable recuperating on his island haven of Providence, who else can investigate when there is "A Murder in Paradise?" You know who. Say it. Go ahead. Picture it: Deadpool, as a detective, interrogating the most brilliant pacifists on Earth. Monk and Columbo have nothing to fear. Plus: Deadpool is brainwashed by the mysterious group known as the Black Box to become a mindless assassin (which, honestly, didn't take much washing). So Deadpool ...

Could have been Iron Man: Gold
Iron Man: the Iron Age volume 2 is the conclusion to the prestige format limited series by Kurt Busiek and Patrick Zircher.
