This book has been extremely helpful to me as I have been involved in intense intercession since 1984. This book unlocked some key insights to me to help me understand what has been happening all along. Thanks for listening. Layne

Just Buy It! Like, now!
If there was one book about the Beatles that you should be stranded on a desert island with, it would be this one. It is made up entirely of interviews, most of which are both new and not featured in the Anthology film. All the great personalities within the Beatles shine through. Ok, I'm going on out a limb, here, assuming that you haven't already gotten this book. It probably is a bit of ...

Excellent Book
This book is the best you are going to find for new quantum electronics. It covers all the essentials (wells, wires and dots as the title says) and, AND it gives you all the code used to generate every figure. This way you can work all the numbers and equations yourself. Yes, it is very expensive, but hey, Harrison has to eat man; a book like this has a real limited audience, so you have to ...

Outstanding field guide
This book is extremely useful to both the general reader and to those with a serious interest in cetaceans. The book is well organized for quick reference and beautifully illustrated to aid in species identification in the field. Cetaceans are grouped by family and unique characteristics are clearly defined and illustrated. In addition the book is lightweight and easily carried on a boat trip. ...

TERRIFIC!
I also own the older Norton anthologies and thought I would update my library. The Bedford Anthology of World Literature is just terrific! I am so very glad I decided to purchase them! Not just a book of stories and poems but all kinds of background material, maps and time lines too. Well worth your time and money.

I would recommend this to those that are hard core intercessors needing more guidance and more revelation to interpret your experiences in prayer. I have found this book extremely helpful. My better sense tells me that this is not a book for everyone, but rather for the experienced intercessor that needs a guide to the next level. I also suggest his other books, Ministering with Angels, and ...

Ever wanted to help people learn instead of teaching?
This teaches you how to make people learn, not how to teach! I am a doctor, this is about Primary School teaching - best book I have ever read for learning to help students and doctors to learn! Go on, break out of your silo you doctors! Brilliant stuff - read it on one night and change your teaching forever

5-year old rates it as "a really good learning book!"
This book and CD-Rom contained lots of knowledge and was a really good learning book. I really liked the moving stuff on the CD. I would have liked more information about South American civilizations.

what webster's is to dictionaries...
This text, like its counterpart Art in Theory 1900-2000, serves as an indispensable resource for those studying the birth of modern art. A superbly organized compendium of 19th century art criticism, it further incorporates secondary material from noteworthy contemporary art historians. Artists and historians: don't leave home without it!

fine introduction
I've written a long review, but here's the summary: This book's author, Paul Harrison, is the president of the World Pantheist Movement, which has a web site at www.pantheism.net. If you are unfamiliar with pantheism, check out the website; and if you want more, this book is for you. It covers about the same material as the webpage, but in a bit more depth. Nevertheless, don't imagine that ...

An Amazing Woman
This book starts out in Idaho. It's about a woman named Sacagawea, who was taken away from her family. A few of her friends left her. The men who came for her called her bird woman. Sacagawea got married when she was 15 and had a baby. She guided Lewis and Clark across the Western United States. They had to map it out for Thomas Jefferson after the Lousianna Purchase. It took a long time for ...

Great for Algae students
I purchased this book because I was frustrated with the textbook in my alge class. I found this book to be both helpful and informative. It is not a difficult read and the authors didn't use a lot of technical words just to prove they knew them. Tons of great information.

Vintage Harrison
Jim Harrison is, quite simply, American's finest contemporary author. Few writers can craft a sequel that stands alone as a fine work of literature, but for Harrison it's a regular exercise. Harrison's characters are so well developed and completely compelling in their humanity, and the quality of his prose and the inventiveness he employs is remarkable. Harrison proves that we are a nation of ...

Extremely informative and interesting
Although I purchased this book for my children, I could not put it down. I had never hear Maria Tallchief's story. We get a very balanced view of her life. It tells of the hardships she endured without overemphasizing them. It is a very honest book and does not hide what some might find to be the uncomfortable events of her life. Yet, while the authors include hardships, they focus on her ...
Five-Minute Art Ideas: Print Scissors Glue Paint

Nice Art Book
I bought this book to use with my School Age Child Care Program. The children have loved doing the projects. Don't let the title fool you, the art ideas take longer than five minutes to complete. As one reviewer already stated, these projects only take five minutes to set up. The book is divided into four sections: print, glue, scissors, paint. I am really happy with this purchase!

comprehensive coverage of the basics
Like many in the Lecture Notes series this book provides reasonably comprehensive coverage of its subject. The important syndromes and most of the undergraduate syllabus are dealt with in a clear and straight-forward manner making this as good a text for a first look as for last minute revision. More interested readers will find it a good launch pad for more in-depth studies. I recommend it to ...

58 years old and it still works!
This is the second is a series of reading primer books by McKee that were likely used for 20 years and likely helps untold thousands of children to learn to read. This is the first book I can remember reading in my life, and that was in the mid 1960's. I was so unimpressed with the books the public school was recommending, and that we were given a set of, that I rebelled against the system ...
