Colossal Book of Quick Skits, The 6 reviews Paul McCusker
Monarch Books, 2006
high hopes Stephen Lungu came to Stanford University to speak recently, and his testimony was one of the most moving testimonies I have ever heard in my entire life. I bought the book so that I could ask my friends to read it. I think the key to the testimony is that... most of the time, when Christians witness to other Christians, it is difficult to accept their perspective: Christians often get ...

Fun and Heart felt. I am the director of The Harvest Players, the drama department of Garden Valley Church in Kelowna Canada. We used this script for our first full-length play in November 98. It was very well recieved. It deals with life and growing up or old. People of all ages from 18 to 88 can realate and are impacted by this play. It has only two set changes that are easily done.

At Home in Mitford (The Mitford Years, Book 1) 392 reviews Paul McCusker, Jan Karon
Tyndale Entertainment, 2003
Solid Christian literature I'm giving this one five stars even though I did not personally care for it. Why? Because the author has rendered a magnificently-written, coherent story (albeit, a pretty unreal one) which achieves a high enough level of literary excellence that I'm compelled to call it "American Christian Literature". I believe that the writing is equivalent in quality to that of some past great American ...

Little Women (Radio Theatre) 3 reviews Philip Glassborow, Paul McCusker
Tyndale Entertainment, 2004
Little Women Radio Theatre Beyond our expectations!!! This presentation by Focus on the Family is beyond praise. Each character is excellently cast, the sound effects superb, and the story, of course, heartwarming. The radio theatre stories by Focus on the Family cause vivid mental pictures as you listen - almost as if you're watching a video of the book.

Darien's Rise (Passages 1: From Adventures in Odyssey) 1 review Paul McCusker
Focus, 2005
Awesome I love the author's creativity in making a 2000+ year old bible story come to life. It shows a young person how relevant the stories of the bible are to everyday life. Both my [...] and my [...] loved this entire series and I didn't find anything dark or sinister in them at all. How refreshing!

Annison's Risk (Passages 3: From Adventures in Odyssey) 3 reviews Paul McCusker
Focus, 2005
A great new look at the Biblical story of Esther If you've read any of the Passages books, you know there's nothing more to be said. This one follows the story of young Maddy as she finally discovers the "magic" world she's always imagined. Only it's not Prince Charming and a beautiful princess to rescue...it's a Queen marrying a foreign king. Maddy manages to bungle her way to the palace though, and though she can't help Queen Annison meet her ...

Playwriting: A Study in Choices and Challenges (Lillenas Drama Resource How to Book) Paul Mccusker
Lillenas Drama, 1995
’OK, so you want to write plays. Maybe plays for your church, your local theatre group, perhaps for any group anywhere who has need for a play with a distinctive moral perspective: a world-view born out of Holy Scripture, the great creeds, the writings of those spiritual fathers who came before you, or your own personal experience with Jesus Christ. You want to write plays to fulfill that persistent itch that won’t be scratched until ...

Father Gilbert Mysteries Vol. 3: The Play's the Thing/The Grey Lady (Radio Theatre) 4 reviews Paul McCusker, Dave Arnold
Tyndale Entertainment, 2007
Father Gilbert's Last Mystery The Silver Cord deals with Father Louis Gilbert's mother in a coma and the supposed scribblings she does while not awake.
In memoriam deals with a lost love of Father Gilber and a shocking secret .
I thought mystery wise they were not the two best Father Gilbert mysteres, that is reserved the Grey Lady and The Play's The Thing.
It was well acted and it does have a very surprising ending.

The Mill House 8 reviews Paul McCusker
Zondervan, 2004
Mitford meets "The Notebook" Paul McCusker's writing is delightful; his characters compelling; his plot riveting. The Mill House has all the charm of Jan Karon's Mitford, plus the plot twists of Nicholas Sparks' best tales. I've recommended it widely and can't wait to start the prequel.
