Paul Stickland, Hennrietta Strickland

Dinosaur Stomp!11 reviews
Paul Stickland

Dutton Juvenile, 1996

The best Strickland work
My kids loved this cute story and the beautiful illustrations so much we wore out 3 copies. It went to the hospital with one child, went to show-and-tell with a couple of them. It came on vacations. We had to carry it in the car at all times and read it at bedtime every day. It's a great children's work.

Truck Jam1 review
Paul Stickland

Barnes & Noble, 2006

Great Birthday Gift for 2-3 year olds!
This book is a hit with boys and girls age 2-3. Highly recommend. Flowing prose, GREAT and kind of surprisingly eye-popping pop ups. Kids will be more fascinated and less likely to tear this one, but still read it with supervision if you want it to last. My daughter almost pulled the truck off because she wanted to "see the engine." The engine. Under the hood. Made of paper. She would have ...

terrific, fun book
This book is one of my 3 year old son's favorites at the moment (especially the picture with the dinosaur who ate too much). The illustrations are very bright and colorful. Text is simple but fun for counting down from 10 to 1.

richly illustrated, feel good story
This is a beautifully illustrated, kid friendly book. It helps to point out that though Christmas presents are fun, the true spirit of Christmas is family. The pages of this book are so bright and detailed that a child can spend days pointing out new things.

Our most requested book!
I used to work as the children's coordinator at our local public library, and this book was a favorite for the age 1-3 year crowd. Now that I have my own children, this is the must read book before bed. My 14 month old "reads" this book to me every night. The simple text and cute pictures are perfect. She says the words., then does the animal sound. Ath the end, she kisses the baby goodnight and ...

The Christmas Bear1 review
Henrietta Stickland

Backpack Books with Ragged Bear Pub, Ltd, 2006

beautiful illustrations
My three year old son loves this book. We borrowed it from the library and now we must have our own copy. The illustrations are a so abundant in material that my son wants to keep going back to look through the pages. Great for the imagination. I also adore the little polar bear who falls down the snowy hole right into Santa's study. Wonderful illustrations and a simple, but warm story.

ABC Bouncy Boxes and Board Book1 review

Anytime Books, 1995

2 to 4 year olds ADORE this "surprise"!
This "book" is great for learning your ABC's, but what kids just adore is the way the boxes FLY out of the box when you open it. It's surprisingly durable. The down side is that an adult has to flatten all the blocks and put them back over and over and over ... kids never tire of watching those blocks fly through the air!
