Fantastic!
I took this book out of the library hoping it would have some fun ideas for my four year old. I was not disappointed! The games are lots of fun and I appreciate that the author takes the time to explain what they are learning. We're only doing section one because of my daughter's age, but flipping through the book the other sections look good too. I am definitely buying this one and intend to ...

Best book of its kind.
The parenting section of my local bookstore contains several shelves of workbooks designed for parents who want to help their kids with schoolwork. The books are nothing more than page after depressing page of the same dull exercises most kids get plenty of already in school. I assume they must be selling well, or the store would not order so many of them. But looking at those workbooks makes me ...

Afterwards:Folk Tales with Mathematical Ever Afters
I enjoyed this book. My students enjoyed the moral lessons that it taught. The stories had a set of mathematical problems at the end for the students to work. Many of the problems could be changed to different grade levels.

A light read
These novellas are light and easy to read. It's a good book to curl up with when you don't want a complicated and adventurous story. The novellas are emotionally driven and the characters are well-developed. The stories are wholesome and there's an inspirational message woven within each story. I'd recommend this book to all who like a light Christian romance story.

a pleasure to learn
We are a homeschooling family with young daughters. My youngest daughter has absolutely no interest in sitting down to learn to read and write. It has always been a struggle with her. At 8yo now, we have begun to get a little (maybe a lot) frustrated with each other and the learning to read and write process. We both inwardly cringe when I pull out the phonics books. However, Peggy Kaye's ...

Great for Homeschooling
This is a wonderful book for the homeschooling environment. First, the author is a tutor for children struggling with public school methods, so she offers enjoyable, imaginative alternatives to the plug and chug kids get in school. Second, as a tutor, the author works with children primarily one-on-one. These games, therefore, lend themselves naturally to the experience of home schooling. ...

A unique way to expand a child's imagination!
Most of the time when I read my daughter a book, we end up discussing little things relating to what's happening in the book. It could be something that she was reminded of, or something I want to share with her at that time. Books are not only for reading...they're for helping expand minds and imagination. There is no end to what a book can accomplish for its reader. In the book, "Games ...
