Into Temptation (Lytton Family Trilogy) 13 reviews Penny Vincenzi
Overlook TP, 2006
Loved this trilogy! This was the best trilogy's I have ever read. I am sorry it's over now. I agree with all the other readers on how great these books were. I am also suprised most people have never heard of these books. I love the old English family saga's. I also loved Barbara Taylor Bradford's Woman of Substance.

Sheer Abandon: A Novel 21 reviews Penny Vincenzi
Broadway, 2008
SHEER PLEASURE This is the first Penny Vincenzi novel I'd ever read, and I was hooked from page one. It takes awhile to keep the cast of thousands straight, but once you do, you can't read fast enough. Vincenzi is my favorite kind of author -- she gives you drama, excitement, great characters, lots of plot, and plenty of pages for your money. And she also gives you something to think about, a moral dilemma ...

The Dilemma 6 reviews Penny Vincenzi
Overlook Hardcover, 2007
Terrific read Just finished this terrific book and had to write my review. I found it totally absorbing, the characters extraordinarily well-drawn and the complicated plot fascinating. In fact, I've stayed up much of the night to finish it.
I agree with a reviewer below that Bard's daughter Kirsten (not Kate, as she mistakenly said) is particularly empathetic but I liked the fact that each and every ...

Almost a Crime 7 reviews Penny Vincenzi
Overlook TP, 2007
Onc again , unable to put down! I first became familiar with Penny Vincenzi in the London airport. I grabbed two of her books because the front looked interesting. Since then I have bought everything she has written, even going so far as to have them picked up for me there by an exchange student. I love, love all her books and hate to come to the end of them. I love that they are thick and she writes in detail aout all her ...

Something Dangerous 15 reviews Penny Vincenzi
Overlook TP, 2005
THE LADIES RULE! Another great one from Penny Vincenzi! I read NO ANGEL and was hooked. SOMETHING DANGEROUS was also an
"i can't put it down" novel which continued with the story of the Lyttons. I found all of the characters to be
individually interesting and unique. Lady Beckenham and Lady Celia are my two favorites because they have
what it takes to endure a not always easy life. Both are strong women ...

Another Woman 5 reviews Penny Vincenzi
Orion mass market paperback, 1995
ANOTHER WINNER!!!!! A PAGE TURNER A must read for any Penny Vincenzi fan. I am aware this book was published in the mid 90s. However the plot is timeless. One must really pay attention to all the given clues. A wonderful story with so many twists and turns. Hard to believe so much can happen in a 48 hour period. She has done it again, never ceases to entertain me.

An Absolute Scandal: A Novel 3 reviews Penny Vincenzi
Doubleday, 2008
Intrigue, drama, and an infamous insurance scandal Bear with me for a moment, for a history refresher course for those who don't remember (or weren't acutely aware of) the scandal that hit famous British insurance agents Lloyd's of London back in the late 1980s. Lloyd's insurance policies (perhaps most famous to Americans for insuring unusual items such as Celine Dion's vocal cords and Tina Turner's legs) are underwritten primarily by a society ...

fascinating I love sagas and this is one of the best. Unfortunately I don't have as much time to read as I would like...so this book kept me up late at night to finish. Looking forward to the next two episodes.

Wicked Pleasures 5 reviews Penny Vincenzi
REVIEW (HEADLINE), 2006
It was interesting reading the contrast of two countries. Like all of Penny Vincenzi's books this was another page turner and I love all the twists and turns she injects into her stories. I found this one was one of her best because of the changing storyline that had us following the American Side of the family in One Chapter and then over to the completly different way of life of the English wealthy family. I love the fact she writes nice long ...
