Princeton Review

Princeton Review, 2007

useful
I am a sophomore student in high school. I took the ACT in April 12.2008,and the English was extremely helpful. Although the math section was unpleasant and Reading was ran out of time.I would recommend to the students who going to take the ACT. I got my score back in April 2. The score was terrible and disappointed. I'm going to take it again in June to prove my score up to 10 points

Princeton Review

Princeton Review, 2008

Super Helpful and actually fun too!
This 2009 SAT book that i bought about a month ago, has been exteremely helpful! I'm a freshman high school, but wanted a head start on studying for the SAT, thus my parents purchased this latest edition SAT book. I honestly thought it would be boring, but the makers of the book make it very fun! They explain everything with easy step-by-step instructions without the use of big words, and they ...

Cracking the AP U.S. History Exam, 2008 Edition (College Test Prep)2 reviews
Princeton Review

Princeton Review, 2008

easy to use and effective
This book is great for those of us who are too busy or can't concentrate on our textbooks. This book helped me a lot in my APUSH class because it's much easier to read and much shorter than the textbook. The questions for each section should tell you what you understand or do not understand in that section. You can use it as an indicator on what part of your textbook you need to read more ...

Best 368 Colleges, 2009 Edition (College Admissions Guides)4 reviews
Princeton Review

Princeton Review, 2008

Great Resource...
This is a good guide to use once you've narrowed down your college choices a little. Then you can read just about the ones you want to. I don't think I could make it through alphabetically but if you already have a fairly good idea which schools you are interested in, this book will help you narrow it down.

11 Practice Tests for the SAT and PSAT, 2009 Edition (College Test Prep)2 reviews
Princeton Review

Princeton Review, 2008

Retarded book because....
...it's the same as the 2008 version, save for a few questions here and there. i'm a tutor and i was looking forward to the new 2009 edition. i was severely disappointed as i was looking forward to having a new set of sat practice tests to tutor with. don't the writers of p.r. know that they can make so much more money if new tests were produced every year? everyone knows that the only real ...

Cracking the AP World History Exam, 2008 Edition (College Test Prep)6 reviews
Princeton Review

Princeton Review, 2007

This book is a lifesaver!
Last year I had an online AP World History course during first semester, and by the time May arrived, I had forgotten the small amount of history that I learned in the class. My friend and I skipped school about 5 days during the two weeks before the exam to study from the book, and I looked through it every night to review. We just received our scores from the 2008 exam today and she made a 4 ...

Cracking the GMAT with DVD, 2009 Edition (Graduate Test Prep)3 reviews
Princeton Review

Princeton Review, 2008

Honest Review of GMAT Books!
After going through all the GMAT books, here is my honest opinion about some of the most popular GMAT books: Official Guide: Pros - Excellent source of GMAT questions. Very well organized with real test like questions. Cons - No review of any math content or test-taking strategies. Not enough explanations of practice questions. Overall, the Official Guide is a must have for all ...

Cracking the SAT Math 1 and 2 Subject Tests, 2007-2008 Edition (College Test Prep)9 reviews
Princeton Review

Princeton Review, 2007

Handy preparation
Pretty good and straightforward review to prepare you for the SAT II Math. I started using this as a study guide a week before the test, and it helped very much. I'm currently taking Calculus, so Precal (most of Level 2 Math) and other subjects were forgotten. This book helped me remember and review many mathematical concepts, such as the arithmetic/geometric sequences, sum of sequences, and ...

Cracking the AP Chemistry Exam, 2008 Edition (College Test Prep)11 reviews
Princeton Review

Princeton Review, 2007

AP chem? Not so tough when you've got PR!
I'm a junior in AP chemistry. I've slacked off all year, my grades on exams were generally Bs and Cs, but I wanted a chance for redemption: I intended to do well on the AP chemistry exam. Not just well -- I wanted a 5. So, a few days before the exam, intimidated by the voluminous textbooks, filled with dry, academic pages, I decided to wander into my local book-store to purchase this little ...

Cracking the AP Physics B Exam, 2008 Edition (College Test Prep)2 reviews
Princeton Review

Princeton Review, 2008

One of the Best Review Books
This book will easily get anyone who really understands it a 5 on the exam, especially if you can score well on the practice tests in the back. It's better for review, rather than learning. If you want an AP book that you can learn from, I suggest using 5 Steps to a 5. I never really understood electromagnetic induction or nuclear physics from my textbook, and this book was even worse for that, ...

Lots of practice leads to substantial score improvements
The best way for students to really learn effective test taking techniques and strategies is to do lots of practice. That's just what this book offers. With 10 complete SAT tests (the eleventh is a PSAT test), it contains more than enough practice test material for even the most dedicated student. Princeton Review has done a commendable job creating practice tests that closely mimic the actual ...

Good!
I didn't take an AP lit course; all I did was just read this book the night before and look over the literary terms. I got a 4, which is pretty decent considering my lack of preparation. So, I do have this book to thank!
