Incredible!! This book has an amazing array of experiments!
The book is written to keep the interest of every reader, but simple enough for the youngest child to understand. Experiments range from finding the bones in bird pellets, to extracting pigment from plants, to feeding sea anemones! There is an experiment just about every topic touched upon, using common tools and materials. Great book for hands on science.

Great introduction for toddlers!
My 3 y.o. son practically demands we read this book every night before bed during our family bible and prayer time. Just the right amount of text, spiritual 'milk' aimed right at the young listener, and nice illustrations to boot. The 'action items' on each page really excite our young one, he can't wait to roar like a lion, baa like a sheep or sing 'happy birthday' to Jesus each night. My ...

Thought-Provoking Quotes for Every Occasion
This modest-sized book contains thousands of quotes. It is well indexed. The quotes vary from subjects as diverse as cats, religion, self-esteem, marriage, happiness, children, humor, the American Dream, finance, injustice, personal problems, politics, expert opinions, the natural world, and much more. Three of my favorite quotes are: "Smooth seas do not make skillful sailors" (p. 166); ...

The ultimate sewing resource
This is a big, thick, heavy book, and not exactly something you can tuck in a corner while you work. It's large and wide, though, and lies flat fairly easily, which helps to make it easier to look at while working. It includes an absolutely amazing amount of detail meant to get you from rank beginner through finely tailored clothing, and honestly I expect this book to still be useful to me in ten ...

New Fix-It-Yourself Manual
This was purchased as a gift for my son-in-law. As I told him, it is by far the best do-it-yourself home repair manual I have ever seen or used. It is clearly and logically laid out. Illustrations are in full color and large enough to easily identify the part(s) to be worked on. Diagnostics are systematic without being wordy, and very accurate. It also tells you when you have exhausted all ...

Beautiful Book
This is a beautiful book for toddlers. Fisher Price makes a good quality product and this one has heavy cardboard pages will stand up to little hands who are eager to turn pages. Little flaps hold surprise photos underneath and my 2 year old granddaughter loves looking for the hidden pictures. Good choice for fun reading time.

Can't Improve Upon It
This book was published twice by Reader's Digest when there wasn't much demand for it. Skyhorse Publishing took it over and made enough "significant changes" to establish their own copyright over it. But the changes are just different pictures and rearranged pages! This book is just about to come into its own due to the demise of oil and the Dollar. These are skills the general population ...

This is an excellent book for the novice do-it-yourselfer. I was intimidated with a lot of the work needed to be done on my new home, but this book made it all seem possible. It was clear what things I could tackle myself, and what things are best left to a pro. I particularly liked the section on fasteners - it was something I didn't understand, although I thought I should!, and it gave a ...
