Great introduction to Spanish for your child!
This series is a great way to introduce Spanish to your child. The board books are sturdy and colorful. Each is theme-based, with food, toys, clothes, numbers etc. Starting out with just words will give your youngster the impetus to move on to more words or even sentences next!

A great book for city babies!
Not only is this a good bilingual book, but it's one of the very few "first words" books out there for city kids. There's a great selection of words that will be instantly recognizable to the city kid, with very pleasing graphics.

If you know how to pronounce the Spanish words correctly, this is a great book for toddlers. I've used it with my Toddler Spanish classes, and even my 4-7 year olds as they are learning to form their own opinions and original sentences in Spanish. Previous poster is wrong about translation
It is common knowledge that an article needs to be placed in front of nouns in Spanish and that this is not necessary for English nouns. It is absolutely correct that this was done in this book. "Color café" is a term used quite often throughout Latin America, but especially in Mexico and Central America, to mean brown.

Nice Book for Kids Learning Spanish or English
This is a nice Billingual book in English and Spanish. It can help kids learn either language and make connections. It is easy and very similar to a glossary with words and terms rather than many sentences. Enjoyable to read and look at especially if you have a connection to learning either language.
