Dragonrealm Expert reviews Firedrake
I've read all of the Dragonrealm series which consists of The Shrouded Realm, Dragon Tome, Firedrake, Ice Dragon, Children of the Drake, Shadow Steed, Wolfhelm, The Crystal Dragon, and The Dragon Crown. Each of these are spectacular fantasy books, and Firedrake is by far the best work of the bunch. There are many well developed characters, and several good storylines going on at once which all ...

Dragon Tome (Dragonrealm)1 review
Richard A. Knaak

Backinprint.com, 2000

Must Read!!!!!
This book is a must read for all richard Knaak readers, especially if you enjoy his Dragonrealm series. Dragon Tome is about the mysterious Libraries of Penacles and the first Bedlam in the Dragonrealm. If you have not read any of the Dragonrealm books, I would recommend that you read The Shrouded Realm or Firedrake first.

Diablo: The Sin War #3: The Veiled Prophet3 reviews

Pocket Books, 2007

Knaak prefers a balance...
I just finished this book last week. After reading the first two, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this story. The part that really interested me was the theological aspects that were greatly intertwined within the story, especially the part of the Nephilim (Edyrem). I must say that I did not predict this ending to the story, I sort of suspected it because of the story-line in the video ...

The Crystal Dragon (Dragonrealm)1 review
Richard A. Knaak

Questar, 1993

Very Good!
This book is a must read for all Dragonrealm fans. In it, Nimth is let into the Dragonrealm by the Crystal Dragon, who is really the last of the Vraad and a character that you met before if you read the Origin of the Dragonrealm, in an attempt to stop the wolf raiders from taking over Legar. Also, the wolf raiders awaken the Quel and take Darkhorse prisoner. The Gryphon and Troia return from ...

Shadow Steed3 reviews

Questar, 1990

A BEAUTIFUL READ!
This book was great! I was so into it that I finished in a day! I laughed with Darkhorse, I smiled with Erini, I lost my mind with Shade, I died with Drayfitt, I helped save 'Aurim Bedlam' with Cabe and Gwen,I gasped at the sight of Nimth, and I even cried at the end ( If you have read it you know what I am talking about, but I don't want to spoil the ending if you haven't). I felt so ...

Firedrake: The Dragonrealm7 reviews
Richard A. Knaak

Warner Books, 1993

wow!
Wow! I was blown away by this book. It is the best of all time. The characters are so lifelike and the plot keeps you on the edge of your seat. Darkhorse gives a little bit of humor to the book and Shade entrances the reader with his unpredictability. This is a must read for all fantasy lovers! Only one question: Why is this series out of print?

The Dragon Crown1 review
Richard A. Knaak

Questar, 1994

Great!
a great book about the Emperor's hatchlings and Toma's sudden reappearances (although he was really there all along) and evil plots. Kyl, the heir to the Dragon throne, travels to Talak and Penacles to visit the rulers before his coronation, accompanied by the power behind the throne- his brother Grath,Drakhorse, and his mentor Benjin Traske. Interesting things happen while they are there- an ...

Shrouded Realm (Origin of Dragonrealm)2 reviews
Richard A. Knaak

Warner Books, 1991

Un-Fogs the Mystery surrounding the Dragonrealm!
This book, the Shrouded Realm, un-fogs much of the strange mystery of the Vraad and the Dragonrealm itself. I was so surprised at all the things I discovered, like the origin of Sirvak Dragoth, the Guardians, Darkhorse, and, most importantly, the slight clearing up of Shade's past. I love the author's style. He slips subtle hints about things that you would miss if you were not looking for it. ...

The Legend of Huma (Dragonlance: Heroes)128 reviews
Richard A. Knaak

Wizards of the Coast, 2004

Excellent Piece of the Saga
The Dragonlance Chronicles were so popular that they spawned dozens of prequels, sequels, and "histories" set in the world of Krynn. Unfortunately, most of those not written by Weis and Hickman were mediocre at best. This was one of the rare exceptions - almost as compelling as the original trilogy. Knaak has written other Dragonlance books, and I actually enjoyed them all, but this is his best. ...

Dragon Tome: Origin of Dragonrealm1 review
Richard A. Knaak

Warner Books, 1992

A Must Read!
This book is a very good conclusion to the Origin of the Dragonrealm series. It solves the mysteries of the Libraries of Penacles and is the first appearance of a Bedlam in the Dragonrealm. It is a little creepy but still very good. A must read for all Dragonrealm fans!

Want Your WOW Kid to Read? Grab this!
My son is a WOW-head and plays the game all the time. Being a parent who wishes he spent more time reading, I found these books to be a great way to extend his interest in WOW, and have him read as well. They aren't 'game guides' but actual stories set in the World of Warcraft. This contains four stories and he seems to love them.

Night of Blood18 reviews
Richard A. Knaak

Wizards of the Coast, 2003

One of the BEST DragonLance books! And I Read LOTS and LOTS! Knaak is Mr. Minotaur Man!
I've been a DragonLance fan for a decade or so. I read a LOT of its books(as well of its sister world Forgotten Realms), and I have to say this is one of the best! I read the past works of Knaak about his minotaurs, and though I enjoyed them all, this one is his masterpiece! The characters are well done, the flow of the story - though shifts from one character to another - keeps you totally ...

Kaz the Minotaur (Dragonlance: Heroes)29 reviews
Richard A. Knaak

Wizards of the Coast, 2004

Kaz, Greatest Minotaur Ever
Kaz the Minotaur picks up where The Legend of Huma ends with Kaz as the main character. The great minotaur has supposedly been betrayed by the knighthood he has grown to respect. There is a price on his head, and he doesn't know why. In addition he is being pursued by a group of minotaurs for a dishonorable crime that he supposedly committed during the war. Being chased by many and wondering ...

Icedragon1 review

Warner Books, 1989

A very good read for all Dragonrealm fans!
This is a great book to read if you have read Firedrake before. However, if you have not read Firedrake you need to read it first so that you know what the characters are talking about. Then this is a great book. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, especially when Tyr prophecizes about Cabe's death. A great book for fantasy fans!

Reavers of the Blood Sea (Dragonlance Chaos War, Vol. 4)19 reviews
Richard A. Knaak

Wizards of the Coast, 1999

The Gods Walk Amongst The Mortals...
This book was definately a "Must Read"! I have read probably 20 DL novels, and this was in the top 10. This story centers on "Ayrx", direct descendant from the legandary "Kaz", during the chaos war. This book was a page turner, with some amazing battles, in fact, lots, and lots, of battles. The minotaurs as usual fought with themselves over the virtues of Honor, and Bravery, and as usual, there ...
