Veil of the Goddess2 reviews
Rob Preece

Lulu.com, 2006

Fast-paced, timely, relevant thriller/ fans of the Da Vinci Code will enjoy
Veil of the Goddess is the first novel I've read of author Rob Preece, and the one that got me hooked and spurred me to look for his other novels. "Veil" is a timely and relevant thriller, written in a fluent, fast-paced style, and encompasses the region that's been making headlines, day in, day out. Also, readers who like to take a walk on the far side, a la The Da Vinci Code, will enjoy ...

Eye of the Storm2 reviews
Amy Eastlake

BooksForABuck.com, 2006

Couldn't put it down!
This book was great. Aila totally kicks butt. I was hooked from the first page and couldn't put it down until the end. A really unique, fast paced romantic suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat all the way through. I'm not at all surprised that this one was a Golden Heart finalist. I will definitely be watching for more books from Amy Eastlake!

A Really Bad Hair Day: The Return of Magic Plague1 review
Rob Preece

BooksForABuck.com, 2008

What a marvelous tale!
I just began reading this, but had to rush and opine. Rob Preece has a very engaging style, the story just flows and flows. I will return and opine at length, though from what I've read so far, I doubt that I will change my 5-star rating. For yes, indeed, this is a story that combines a light first-person touch with some serious insights. And Erin, the heroine, is a heroine to root for!

The Wisdom of Imperfection: The Challenge of Individuation in Buddhist Life7 reviews
Rob Preece

Snow Lion Publications, 2006

A balance of East and West
I found this book very helpful, useful and easy to navigate. Predominately the book is about the Shadow and the need to integrate and accept it as part of ourselves. Rob works a lot with Western Buddhists who have trouble integrating & healing their emotional wounds while simultaneously aspiring to Buddhist spiritual practice and the resulting inner conflict this can bring. He shows that we can ...

A Really Bad Hair Day1 review

Fantasy, 2008

funny bubblegum for the brain
If you are looking for a profoundly moving read, get the latest Rushdie tome 'cause this isn't it. It is, however, funny, nicely paced bubblegum for the brain. I giggled a lot, and laughed out loud often. Perfect choice for an afternoon lazing in a hammock with a cold beer. My only complaint? Poor editing for typos and errors in text file conversion.

This blend of psychology and Buddhist principles allows readers to overcome common boundaries between Eastern philosophy and Western results-driven psychology, offering chapters based on Buddhist tantric ...
