This is my first Crais novel and was told in a newspaper review of his latest Elvis Cole book to go back and start with the first Cole adventure. I am so glad I did. It was a great introduction! I will now read every one of them.

I'm Hooked On Cole!
I'm happy to say that I'm hooked on Elvis Cole and Joe Pike. I know I'm late to the party, but hey, better to be late then to not show up at all. I started the series from the beginning with "The Monkey's Raincoat.", and immediately after reading that, I grabbed "Stalking the Angel" The first book was great, and this book, no exception.

I love all the Elvis Cole books that Robert Crais has written. He is one great guy. Mystery is always in the mix and he solves them very well. I'd like to have read them in sequence, but didn't get that order until after I'd read about 5 of his books.

This is a magical book.
I have had my copy for thirteen years now, and, since the first time I read it, I have called it my Bible. This book has helped me to summon up lost teachings of my own souls journey, and has helped me to find my truth.
As far as the people who gave it poor reviews, I guess they don't connect to the true, raw wisdom that Lawlor has to offer.

I found this book to be very fascinating. It may be entitled "male sexuality" but there are many references to "female sexuality" too. In fact, it goes into how individuals have male and female characteristics and how that relates to who they are "being" in their lives. I found it to expand my mind and understanding.
