Very easy to understand!
I had been out of school for 10 years when I enrolled into a College Algebra course that used this book. If it would have not been for this textbook, I would have never made it through the course with an A. It is written in a way that builds up in a very easy to understand way and has great sample problems. The review part helped me to catch up within only a week. Very recommended!

This book is good because it give you clear (easy) examples of the material it is explaining. The practice problems are also very good because they start off from the most basic then progress to advanced. This books has a lot of practical real world problems. We bought this text book so my daughter would have a copy of her text at school and at home. The book was listed in "good" condition and it is in so much better condition than the one she received from her high school. What a great deal. Also, fast and fair priced shipping.

This book was the textbook for a Calc 2 class that I took. It had been a long time since I took calc 1, and had forgotten most of the information. A good book for a mathematically challenged student.
I used this book for my Precalculus class and it's was a great book for someone who has a hard time with math. If you are familiar with the Larson books, this one is laid out the same. Although it assumes you know some of the basics during some of the chapters, it's a good guide and great text.
