Catching up on sleep
This book was truly awesome. In the first book Life Support, I enjoyed the story and the characters. This book was so riveting I could not put it down. I stayed up late every night because I never found a spot slow enough to put it down. Now I'm catching up on my sleep. The characters and story have stayed with me and I look forward to finding more gems from Robert Whitlow.

Jimmy also has near-perfect recall for things he hears spoken...
Robert Whitlow is known for his John Grisham-like legal thrillers, but in JIMMY he diverges from his normal courtroom dramas to write a heart-tugging tale. The story revolves around a mentally handicapped boy whose discovery of a crime puts his life in danger. At 13 years old, Jimmy knows he's "special." Writes Whitlow: "He'd been special all his life, and it had created a lot of problems for ...

Just What I Needed
This is the first Robert Whitlow book that I have read. I'm so pleased. The spiritual tidbits that were just for me at the time I needed them were amazing. I had to keep going back to read them. Whitlow's insight about the love relationship being spiritual instead of just with the mind hit me with such force. His description of the spiritual birth was so accurate. It was the first time I ...

The Sacrifice24 reviews
Robert Whitlow

Thomas Nelson, 2004

Awesome legal thriller with a Christian background.
I have read Whitlow's book "The List" and found it good, but "The Sacrifice" goes far beyond "The List". "The List" had very little legal/trial content, but "The Sacrifice" is full of it. In my opinion, that makes it more appealing. This book also has just as much, if not more, Peretti-style Christian content than "The List" has. It is very noticeable from the beginning, and weaves its way ...

Mountain Top20 reviews
Robert Whitlow

Thomas Nelson, 2007

good book
Well-written Christian fiction. Not your typical romance or mystery, just a good story. I checked it out at the library and enjoyed it, then bought one here to give as a Christmas gift. Another Robert Whitlow book, Jimmy, is just as good, if not better.

The List
The List is an excellent book. I shared my copy with a friend. By the time I got it back she had loaned it to several other people. They all loved the book. I would like to view the movie when it is made available. However, I do not believe it could be nearly as exciting as the book.

Deeper Water (Tides of Truth Series, Book 1)18 reviews

Awesome As Expected
Robert Whitlow has yet to disappoint. I was a little surprised at the ending because our culture conditions us to expect the worst outcome but sometimes by the grace of God, justice, mercy and right wins. I can't wait for the next Tides of Truth novel.

Life Support/Life Everlasting (The Santee Series 1-2)
Robert Whitlow

WestBow, a Divison of Thomas Nelson, 1990

Life Support: From the Christy-award winning author of The List, The Trial and The Sacrifice comes this twisting tale of tough decisions, mixed motives and mysterious, healing grace. Baxter Richardson survived a fall from a cliff while hiking in the mountains. Whether he'll make it through the next few weeks is unclear. His survival depends on the machines that help him breathe. On the haunted, unstable wife who wants to pull the plug and hide ...
