Adam's Bride (Harlequin Presents #263)1 review
Rosemary Carter

Harlequin, 1978

Beautiful and a must read for all Harlequin novels
Despite the fact that it was made in the 1970's, Adam's Bride surely is a memorable novel in the Harlequin world. It combines love, humor, and a whole lot of passion into one novel. The writing is absolutly superb and the plotline is very original. I give the author of this book a thumbs up! -AM

What we women will do!
Because Fraser Mallory is put-off-ish about relationships; Corey Latimer decides to get close by joining his geological expedition, Kalahari. Only Corey comes as a photographer---a "male" assitance. At first, Corey's plan works well. But as the group traverses deeper into the African bush, serious problems arise! True 3-D characters and a swift tale. Great for an afternoon read.

Another Life1 review

Thorndike Pr (Largeprint), 1985

Past Love
This is not the best book I have ever read but it still keeps your attention. It's about Sara (a ballerina) engaged to Clyde (a doctor), she hears a family member talking about Clyde and if he marries Sara he will never get to be the best he can be. Sara calls off the engagement and the rest of the book is about their relationship from then on.

Women of Magdalene17 reviews

Absolutely flooring and suspenseful!
Louisianna, 1860s. Dr. Robert Mallory thought he had seen it all as a field surgeon during the Civil War. Pain and horror were rampant in the streets, and he is glad that he can start anew with something a little less tragic. Imagine his shock when he begins to practice medicine at the Magdalene Ladies' Asylum. Mental affliction is the least of it. Some of the patients there don't even look ...
