Beware a Scot's Revenge (School for Heiresses, Book 3) 32 reviews Sabrina Jeffries
Pocket, 2007
Great fluff that kept me up ... until 2:30 last night. Yes - just plain fun fluff - nothing more, nothing less. I thought the chemistry was very nicely done. I was worried when it said Jeffries was a missionary's daughter on the back cover but no religion was hinted at and no romance scenes were cut short.

Let Sleeping Rogues Lie (School for Heiresses) 25 reviews Sabrina Jeffries
Pocket, 2008
Let Sleeping Rogues Anthony Dalton, Viscount Norcourt, learned at a very young age that trying to mold himself to please others gained him nothing but disappointment. So in accordance with this lesson, Anthony has lived his life so far without regard for what society thinks. However, when Anthony's brother unexpectedly dies, Anthony finds himself in the unenviable position of having to prove that he is a fit ...

A Notorious Love (Swanlea Spinsters, Book 2) 23 reviews Sabrina Jeffries
Avon, 2001
Captivating all the way to the last word I enjoyed this novel from beginning to end. This was just the kind of romance novel I love. Wonderful characters. Characters that seem real because they are not perfect-something most novels like this lack. There are interesting plot twists and we get to know several secondary characters well. The secondary characters are not boring. The chemistry between Daniel & Helena was very sensual and ...

A Dangerous Love (Swanlea Spinsters, Book 1) 27 reviews Sabrina Jeffries
Avon, 2000
Great Romantic Read Sabrina Jeffries is a wonderful writer. She keeps you enthralled in the lives of her well-developed characters and all that surrounds them. She also writes very strong female characters which is a blessing compared so many romance novels where women are weak, or foolish, or always in the wrong. (And those novels are written by women!) Thank you Ms. Jeffries for a refreshing, thrilling read.

Another winner ! Sabrina Jefferies books are always entertaining. In this novel Felicity is writing a gossip column under Lord X and she make Viscount St. Claire (Ian) her current victim. Ian wants to stop the rumors so he can marry and keep his estate. This story has some great twist and fights between the two characters are very rule. Enjoy!

Only a Duke Will Do (The School for Heiresses, Book 2) 25 reviews Sabrina Jeffries
Pocket, 2006
Great Story, more serious than other "Heirssess Series" books I have read all of the School for Heiresses Series to date, and I would have to say this is my least favorite of them all. Not to say I didn't like it, but I think the reason is that the characters lacked the witty banter of the other books. Louisa North, illegitimate daughter of the King, is head the London Ladies Society whose current goals involve prison reform for women as well as supporting ...

The Pirate Lord (Lord Trilogy, Book 1) 51 reviews Sabrina Jeffries, Deborah Martin
Avon, 1998
Sucker for pirates!!!! This is a great start to the "Lord" series by Sabrina Jeffries. I have to admit that I am a sucker for pirate books. My favorite is the Pirate Prince by Gaelen Foley, but this one is a close second.
I really liked this heroine. She had the perfect balance of strength, vulnerability, and goodness. Sara is a reformer. She is one that seeks to make a difference in the lives of hurting people ...

Never Seduce a Scoundrel (The School for Heiresses, Book 1) 32 reviews Sabrina Jeffries
Pocket, 2006
Interesting Read & Great Character Development This is only my 2nd Sabrina jefferies both but I thought the character development of both Lucas and Amelia was excellent. She was intellegent and witty and he was definately a soldier and a solid and dependable, and lusty man. I loved reading about what happened in the War of 1812 and about Dartmoor Prison. It really sticks with you after reading her book when all the history classes didn't ...

Married to the Viscount (Swanlea Spinsters, Book 5) 27 reviews Sabrina Jeffries
Avon, 2004
Lovely and Spicey Romance I am a big fan of Sabrina Jeffries. I absolutely love all of her books. Of course, we all have her favorites too and I do as well. This is certainly near the top of my list of favorites of hers and also in my top 10 list of all time favs. I had put off reading this book because of some of these not-so-glowing reviews. I have learned my lesson because the majority of the time I disagree with those ...

To Pleasure a Prince (Royal Brotherhood, Book 2) 35 reviews Sabrina Jeffries

Love it... This book is great and I can't wait to read it again. I love the character Viscount Draker because I think that it is hott when he is all like tough and a rogue. I like that he thinks that he is a beast and what not I find it attractive, eventhough it is sad as well. Especialy the way his mom treated him. And I think that Lady Regina and Viscount Draker are a perfect pair and the life that they ...

Pocket Star, 2006
An enjoyable Regency Anthology I always enjoy anthologies. They give you a chance to read favorite authors and try out new writers.
Ms Jefferies' "Ten Good Reasons" is fun and light. Eliza must get away from her uncle. Colin has just inherited catches her' borrowing' a horse. Colin must now give ten good reasons to marry him.
Ms Carlyle's "After Midnight" is a little darker. Her characters must find out about the past ...
