You get to follow his tracks through the pages as Scruff tries to hide somewhere on the farm.
As asked in the book "Has anybody here seen my dog, Scruff?" The answer "Baa-no, oink-no, nibble-no, moo-no, quack-no, squeak-no, Cock-a-doodle-do-no"
So where do we find Scruff? If only my dog would do what he did!

Overboard! 5 reviews Sarah Weeks
Harcourt Children's Books, 2006
This is wonderful! Children love it! Baby Bunny likes to throw things. Peaches? Overboard off the highchair! Favorite pajamas? Overboard out of the crib! Rubber Ducky? Overboard from the tub!
If it isn't tied down, Baby Bunny throws it overboard. Nothing is safe...not even himself when he decides to go up high.
OVERBOARD is the cutest little picture story book for ages 2 to 5. When I read the write-up on Amazon, I thought I ...

Splish, Splash (I Can Read Pre Level 1) 3 reviews Sarah Weeks
Fitzgerald Books, 2007
taking a bath was never so much fun! With Splish Splash Sarah Weeks has written a charming story that beginner readers will want to read over and over again. Ashley Wolff's illustrations are a delight. The colorful animal characters capture the eyes and imaginations of young readers and pre-readers. My six ear old enjoys reading the story while my 3 year old enjoys looking at the picutures again and again.

Follow the Moon 7 reviews Sarah Weeks
Harpercollins, 1995
Kids love this story when I read it to them! I found this book at the Natural History Museum (Smithsonian) in Washington, D.C. I first noticed the hadsome boy on the cover and then decided to see what the story was about. It is an excellent story about a kid who cares about animals and nature. It is a cute story of the boy protecting a baby turtle from harm. He is a good protector of this turtle until it finds safety by "following the ...

Baa-Choo! (I Can Read Book 1) 2 reviews Sarah Weeks
Laura Geringer, 2004
Baa Choo--good story to read over and over Great story about a lamb (Sam) who tries to get a sneeze out. He has the "ahhh" but "no choo." I found it to be a great goodnight story for my 2 year old. It was funny and the rhyme scheme helped the story flow. It is one I don't mind reading over and over. Now when I sneeze, he says "Mommy--baa choo!"

Random House Books for Young Readers, 2002
Utterly delightful for both infants and parents This is an excellent small book for first-time encounters with text, which acknowledges that often the first reaction of an infant to a board book is to bite it!
The illustrations are charming and colorful. This is a wonderful treasure that is highly recommended.

Drip Drop (I Can Read Book) 5 reviews Sarah Weeks
Topeka Bindery, 2000
A good book for a beginning reader My first grader got this book for Christmas and loves it! It is easy enough for her to understand the story, and yet doesn't talk down to her or use words that are too easy. Drip, Drop is beautifully illustrated and makes a child want to read! The illustrations draw you in and help make up the story. It is well geared to a young reader who is just starting to read alone. I rate this a 5. ...

Laura Geringer, 1998
MY Son's Love This Book I picked this up at a rummage sale and it was unopened, I just knew it would be added to the rest of the books just sitting on the shelf waiting to be read. When I popped the CD in and played it, my boys went crazy over it. My 3 year old sat at the computer and played it over and over and over. My 1 1/2 year old danced to the music and laughed at the colorful characters dacing on the screen. ...

Piece of Jungle 1 review Sarah Weeks
Laura Geringer, 1999
Amazing, Captivating I am a 2 year old teacher and have never had a book that captured their attention like this one does. I pop in the cassette and listen as the singer tells us all about the animals that live in the rainforest. The pictures are amazing and the sounds are so lifelike. I checked it out from the libraray and after we had listened to the tape 3 or 4 times and the kids had it memorized i knew we had to ...

My Somebody Special 2 reviews Sarah Weeks, Ashley Wolff, 2002
Just perfect! My 3-year-old goes to preschool daily. It's perfect - she really enjoys it but she is always happy to come home at the end of the day. "My Somebody Special" features happy daycare "kids" (actually animals - a fox, a kitten, a hedgehog, a puppy, etc.) who are still excited to see that it is THEIR mom or dad coming through the door at the end of the day. On one page, a "parent" comes through the ...

Noodles: An Enriched Pop-Up Product 1 review Sarah Weeks
Harpercollins Childrens Books, 1996
Buy this if you find it! Please print it again! I love this book, an early David Carter work. The rhymes are really wonderful (see below) and the pop-ups are adorable too. They are clearly David Carter creatures, but these are all different pasta noodles instead of bugs. I'm sad this is out of print- they should bring it back! Here are a few excerpts from my memory: Ladies and gentlemen, guess what we've got? A feast like no others- a show in ...
