Good resource for Eberron Players and DMs
For anyone interested in psionics canon in Eberron, I'd highly recommend this book. There are a lot of NPCs and political information as well as some weapons and feats that may prove useful. It seems a little bit of a throw-back to forgotten realms style regional modules. Downsides for me was that the material was very vague or limited, geographically, but fairly detailed politically. For ...

Dragons: Worlds Afire
I've been a fan of the Forgotten Realms since the beginning and the main reason I purchased this book was for the short story by R.A. Salvatore. I wanted to add this story to my collection of Realms novels and stories. The book itself is very nice; the artwork inside is elaborate, the one story I did read was very well put together with respect to the style and feel of the whole book and made ...

A very good look into a fascinating part of Eberron
As a DM, I really loved reading this suppliment. There are many maps, descriptions and side bars that allow you to truely customize Xen'drik for your players and your game. It's specific enough to keep you true to the setting, but open enough to make Xen'drik unique for each gaming group.

Sumptuous and Informative
As a devotee of country style and an admirer of farmhouses around the northeast, I found this book to be charming. A cross between a coffee table book and a reference guide, it's the kind of thing you can pick up and peruse easily without having to read straight through. It's refreshingly useful-with just enough historical information for the nonacademic. I learn something new every time I refer ...
Virtual Medicine

, 2008
Medicine is about to undergo its most startling transformation. Life extends beyond the boundaries of our skin, as Professor Keith Scott-Mumby so eloquently shows. We are a whirling field of energies, which modern instruments can easily detect and measure. Once this is recognized, it opens the door to many exciting and revolutionary ways to diagnose and treat illness, including the use of interactive electronics. This is no longer the New Age, ...

Finally a good epic book
Annihilation succeeds where Marvel's Civil War failed. Civil War was boring, poorly written, and hard to swallow. Annihilation in comparison is a great book that actually has some believability to it and a real sense of jeopardy for the heroes involved. Plus, it breathes some new life into some cosmic heroes/villains that have been on the back burner far too long at Marvel. I highly ...

A Rational Rationale for the New Medicine
You can read almost everywhere about Mind/Body medicine; it's almost a catchword. Yet here is a book,Virtual Medicine by Dr. Keith Scott-Mumby, which details, in a friendly, passionate way, the actual research and development of the science that supports the theory. His first three chapters, including a history of energy medicine and a well-reasoned explanation of how energetic information ...

Avoids overly technical language and gets to the nitty gritty
The concepts in Fighting for Your African American Marriage are based on psychological principals of male/female relationships, but sensitively adapted to the typical experiences of middle-class black couples. Keith Whitfield has obviously spent a lot of time with black couples, and seems to understand both the men and the women. The book expertly addresses issues of modern vs. traditional ...

Might overwhelm the reader on a first look; it's funnier, easier going when revisited
Some reviewers have found that Keith Scott's monumental tribute to Jay Ward Productions contains almost too much information to be easily enjoyed. The book deals with the "Rocky and Bullwinkle" TV cartoons only in part; to put the R & B phenomenon into context, Scott takes the reader back to Jay Ward's early days, then details the challenging and often harrowing path Ward took through life: a ...

Surprisingly good!!
I didn't really expect much when I read that it includes M&P recipes, but I was pleasantly surprised at how useful it looks! Most of the book is concerned with recipes for CP soapmaking, with seven basic recipes (5 all veggie oil, one tallow, one goat-milk & veggie oil) and several specialty recipes. Without actually sitting down and counting recipes, I'd estimate that it's about 75% CP recipes, ...

a decorative fairy tale.....
As stated in the book's introduction, the decoration of this house does indeed capture the mood, spirit and colors of Provence. Anyone looking for ideas or studies of trompe l'oeil will totally enjoy the art on every page. I remember the first time I saw the art of Fisher and Chappell in an old issue of Country Living magazine. They artfully painted a garden shed and it made the cover of the ...

Without echoing what others have written, this book is one that will appeal to both the neophytes and the veterans of researching the Eastern Front. It is useful on several levels, and contains a wealth of information that in some cases is newly available in the English language! While there is a considerable amount of information in the book, it really is presented in such a logical fashion ...
