reminding us why comics suck so bad today.
Great read. This represents why comics were more creative and fun just a few years ago in the 90s in comparison to the overwhelmingly maudlin nostalgia fad that is currently dragging comic down to the creative depths (especially over at D(ullC comics, home of the mid life crisis of infinite reruns. Onslaught was fun, fresh and compelling. Well worth the read.

great storyline
this includes all the comic that is associated w/ the AoA storyline so you don't miss a thing. it might be a little confusing for the average reader who has no information to the AoA background, but w/ a little marvel knowledge of the universe and continuities then you will appreciate this collection a lot more.

Shell-head reborn, kind of
In the mid-90's, Marvel decided to conclude their much maligned Onslaught storyline with the deaths of many of their top tier heroes. The Fantastic Four, Captain America, Iron Man, and the rest of the Avengers, all bought the big one as their respective titles were canned and re-launched with a new direction (allegedly) as Marvel teamed up with Wildstorm (before they became part of DC) to produce ...

I was blown away
I haven't read too many X-Men crossovers, and from what I've heard, most of them aren't very good. But "X-Men: X-Cutioner's Song" was by far my favorite crossover that I have read, the plot was intricate and emotianally gripping, I read the whole thing in one sitting, and I can't wait to read it again. The art for this book is done by a few different people with extraordinary talents, just ...

The Book(s) That Started it All
Like the title says, this is the book (or collection thereof) that started the best (IMHO) comic book series ever. This shows how the GenX kids got together, and it depicts their first adventure together, sadly however, there is one who will not stay with them for very long. A MUST READ for any comic book fan!

More Darkness...
As is usual, I just loved this comic. Estacado is just the perfect antiheroe. I love the way in which this comic book uis written, drawn and everything. My opinion is not impartial, as I love this comic book!!! Being more partial, I have to admit that some times, some of the story lines presented on this volume were less exciting than the other ones, but I suppose is normal, giving the run ...

Good Enough:
Not review related: I'M NOT A KID. I'm a tween. Review: This book was alright. I'm a huge Joe fan but the cover is deceiving. I honestly don't think that the Graphic Novels really have the same finesse as the other Hardy Boys since all the ones I've read haven't exactly wowed me (and I've read 1-9 and 11) but still, it's a pretty good book.

Great Continuation of a Great Story
Back in the 90's Marvel released a series called Age of Apocalypse where the heroes of the marvel universe, X-Men in particular, were recreated in a world where Xavier had been killed and Apocalypse had taken control of much of the world. It has since become known as one of Marvel's most successful spin-off series and was both critically acclaimed and fan appreciated. Now, ten years later, ...
